View Full Version : something which isn't clear for me yet...

Hello!
First - sorry for my terrible English :)
I think a lot about upgrading my O2 Trion (herm100).
I've the bootloader 1.04 - so - if I understood it the right way - I don't really need to SuperCID my device for flashing any ROM, right?
The only problem is - if the ROM-image comes with a newer bootloader - I'm unable to flash back to the original image, right too?
I didn't want to SuperCID my device, because it will void it's guarranty.
So - the result is - if I find any image which doesn't come with a newer bootloader, i didn't have to SuperCID my device AND I am able to flash back to original settings without any permanent changes?
Is that right? If not - please correct me.
The last question: DOES come the vanilla-wm6-image with a bootloader > 1.04? If the above is right - I hope not. The wiki-page (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Cooked_ROMs) says "NONE" in the "SPL"-row, which isn't very clear in my eyes :)

Thanks a lot and very, very good work!

A nice weekend,
