Hey guys,
I've been experimenting with different ROM's. Currently I have the mun_rus WM6 ROM, but previously the Underground Edition one. On the Underground Edition ROM I had the very annoying problem of the device booting right up after shutdown/standby (just pressing the on/off button 1 second). With the mun_rus ROM I DIDN'T have this problem. Until now that is.
I had radio 2.52 I think on the mun_rus ROM, which didn't cause the 'unable to shutdown' problem, but it did cause the even more annoying problem of not receiving any calls. So I installed the 2.19.11 radio ROM, which worked great on WM5.
Well, maybe you feel it comming: After installing the 2.19.11 radio ROM on the mun_rus ROM I DO have the unable to shutdown problem again! So I guess this is causing the problem, since I didn't do anything else with it...
I have a G4 device by the way, maybe that helps solving this problem...
My current solution is installing BatteryStatus and enable the automatic lock. It does go on after the first button press, but if you press the button again it stays off. I can live with this but it IS annoying.
Well, just thought I should share this ;)
Take care.
