Wow! I hope this is a gag post, since coming from someone with over 200 posts I would hope you would have spent at least a few minutes reading.

If this is indeed real then I will say the following

1. GO to the G4 forum
2. Read how to unlock your G4. I have a G3 so I have paid not attention to all that hoopla.
3. Read how to install the ROM in Faria's rather long post about it.
4. Enjoy!

I tried to install on my g4, which is CIDLocked, it went through the install but didnt install the OS, the only thing that sucesfully installed was the extended rom. I then used shelltool to flash the OS, and that worked fine.

do you have a wizard or tytn? just make sure you arent flashing this on your tytn, it wont work...reason im saying this, is because you have TytN written on your sig.

Or you would have to pay to have it CID unlocked (G4). Where, I don't know but supposedly people have paid for this service.

Uh technically, the tytn is the upgrade to the Wizard...
You have a faster processor, and the capability of 3G HSDPA/UTMS data connections.

I think that currently the Wizard has better custom ROM support, although apparently Faria is moving to the Tytn so that might change (and Kyphur has been doing some good work with XDA-Live) but other than that, if I had a money tree I probably would have moved to a 8525 (Cingular Tytn).

Why are you going the opposite way? I am just curious, not trying to bash or anything...
