View Full Version : Issue with my Rom: ActiveSync doesn't copy appointments

There is a reproduceable problem with my german ROM (reconstructed from Vodafone VPA compact GPS dump):
ActiveSync does not sync appointments. Instead it reports an error "Unterstützungscode 1" (Supportcode 1) and lists the appointments it couldn'T sync.
Also apparently the clock is reset to a wrong time with each sync.

Has anyone experienced this issue with a cooked ROM before? Could it be a bad dump? Which file(s) are responsible for ActiveSync?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: after playing around a bit it now works. I can't really explain why. Will look into it and post my results if any.

I have tried your ROM and the there must be a correaltion to contacts with a birthday. As well as appointments with notes.
Using the original german HTC ROM this does not happen.

Hi,
very interested in why it suddenly works for you ... have the exact same problem since a couple of weeks.
Do you have any idea what it is you played around with?

regards
Torsten

For some users reinstalling ActiveSync worked, some had played around with time settings.
I couldn't pinpoint it any further so far, sorry.

For me it was simple: I set Active Sync to n o t Sync appointments. Than it synced and all appointments on trinity were deleted. Than I changed settings back and after a while everything seems to be ok.
