Ext ROM unlocking?

It's possible to unlock teh Ext ROM of a G4 Prophet to get writting access to this place for installing user-specified programs?

Its a shame.. The Himalaya Extended rom unlocker is a piece of genius!

Just execute both files on your prophet.

This tweak does not work on AKU 2.3 and newer. From here (http://www.205er.de/ppc_2.htm#2f) (german site).

Hmmmm, which AKU does the Qtek 2.20 have?
(I'm using it currently because of testing some stuff)

This should be AKU 2.2... I use the Qtek ROM V 2.20.7.39 GER. Source (http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showthread.php?t=105179).

The tool above unlocks the extended rom of this build and allows overwriting.

Is that mean, I couldn't use it for Aku 3.3? Have you tried it? I will try and report it back.

Hi there,
Sorry to interrupt you with this PM.
TTN6 have messed up my EXT ROM.
Any luck to Unlock it and delete that crap permanently. It's giving me a lot of headache!
