I couldn't find anywhere in any text or review mentioning how fast is Ameo? I hope it is not too slow? Thanks.

Mine runs nice and fast.

Yup, I thought my Universal was fast until I got the Ameo.

Wow, hmm... is it the Chinese Rom which slowed my U1000? I really didn't feel the speed improvement.

For Video:
Has anyone tested the tcpmp Matrix 640x480 XQ trailer? My Unverisal can play the movie little bit (only 1 or 2 scene will drop the frame) better than the Athena (Little bit jerky from time to time).

For Wifi download:
Same as Universal

What's your experience for the video playback when compare to the Universal and any application which you think will run faster on Athena? I may turn to English Rom if it turns out performs better (and if the rom is avaliable).

i am using the chinese ROM, and it feels much faster than Universal, maybe you got your TCPMP setting wrong, my one plays very smooth, not a single frame lost

same here been watching Blood diamonds divx AC3 stream, very good both on wireless G and local on MD. (doppd chinese ROM)
