Flashing the new HTC ROM

Hi,

I've just flashed the Hard-SPLV2 to my TynTn and created an NBH without the SPL/IPL from the new HTC AKU 3.3.1 ROM. However, the RUU updater with this new ROM is not able to put my phone into bootloader mode. Can I flash the new ROM using the modified RUU updater V2 ie will using the SSPL cause me any problems when I have the Hard-SPL installed?

Any one else had this problem with the new HTC RUU updater? No matter what I do it won't talk to the Hard-SPL V2 bootloader?

Seems you need to use the V3 updater with the phone manually put into bootloader mode.

I gave up in the end and just flashed using the V2 Custom RUU which uses an SSPL and it seems to have worked fine.

I gave up in the end and just flashed using the V2 Custom RUU which uses an SSPL and it seems to have worked fine.Seems there are some issues with the new RUU that haven't been fully resolved yet, although I don't see anything in the SPL-1.11 thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298573) that speaks to the problem you had with it.

Please share some specifics with regard to what you were experiencing with that RUU so we'll know! :)

use Custom RUU v3 and select SPL-1.11, 'nuff said.
