The way you phrased the question the answer is no.
You're asking me to put GPS into a ROM that has no GPS support.
I cannot do this, maybe someone else can. I know the hermes people have been trying to do this but I haven't read up on their research yet.

It was possible for german because two companies (Vodafone and Swisscom) released devices that had GPS pre-installed. I used a dumped ROM (1:1 copy) from one of those devices and converted it to be flashable.

So in order to get a french rom with GPS you'll have to either
1) find a device that comes with french GPS ROM pre-installed
OR
2) find a way to include GPS drivers into a non-GPS ROM

If you do the first, I can easily make you a flashable ROM. If no such device exists, you'll need to research option two.

My answer is yes.
1) May be all mui's from french rom is suitable for german rom with gps.
2) You need to sign all french mui's with certificate and place this mui's with certificate in rom
3) replace iniflashfiles.dat from german rom with same file from french rom (with some additional info if it's need)
4) replace all files that contains GER in name with french files
5) edit some registry entries. replace its with french named entries.

If there already is a flashable ROM, why should I reconstruct one.

The AKU3.3 you mentioned might be worthwile to dump, if you can find someone with that device that is.

But what's wrong with the Orange ROM that you can download at the given location, looks like it has everything one needs (except AKU 3.3 maybe).

Yes and if it possible I want 1.000.000$. This is not how this works, you don't wish for things and they miraculously come true. How are we supposed to give you an original HTC ROM if HTC does not release one?

I told you that as long as nobody provides an AKU3.3 dump I have nothing to work on. You could flash the Orange ROM and you would at least have GPS.

What is possible is to create a "cleaned" version of the Orange Update (no extrom or HTC extrom). It wouldn't be much work but I don't see the benefit. Did you try the Orange ROM already?

Get me a ROM dump of the SFR and I'll make it flashable for you. That will get you a 3.3 AKU.
