Hi,
By comparing my mda pro with a friends mda pro we noticed that under
Device Information a storage size of 44 mb on one mda, and I have 39 mb.. We both run the same rom. How is this possible?
Does anyone has an idea on how to recover my lost storage space?
For the record I am not talking about free space but total space...
Thanks all for the help

Might be a difference between a G3 and a G4 device - at least I noticed there is a similar difference you talk about between my wife's G3 JasJar (more storare) and my G4 O2 Exec (less storage).
Can somebody else confirm this difference?

This behaviour is really upsetting me. I have 5MB more RAM than my friend, we both run the same Crossbow ROM.
How can it be that a 4G (4th generation?) has less Ram than a 3G device ?
I wouldn't call the hell-desk of T-Mobile if I were you. It takes them 3 months to do anything.

I did experience this weird thing when I had wizard. My GF(possessing a G3 wizard) showed 47MB of storage and mine, a G4, used to show 39MB storage. We both were running same ROM(wizard Love ROM) ;)

OK - got to ask, What's a G4 and what's a G3 and how do I tell what I've got?

they are different hardware revisions. can't tell the difference in use with WM5 but in WM6 g4 is faster and more stable.
to tell: enter bootloader. at the bottom of the screen is a number. it begins with 0, 1 or 2. 0 and 1 are G3. 2 is G4
