Hello,

Can someone help please, I’ve overclocked my Qtek S200 (Prophet) to such a speed that my phone is not capable to run on.

The difficulty is, before I have done this I foolishly  “Registered” in start-up menu for the overclocking software to run at 288 MHz.

Now when restarting, the phone is reaching a point of Window Mobile and then it’s either stops dead or restarting it self constantly.

I can guess the solution but don't know how to do it :) I need somehow to stop Overclocking software to be used during a boot up.

Or maybe even a hard-reset. (I did that already but it’ freezes at the point where I can see 3colors on the screen and nothing further. Any suggestions please?

The easyest way is to perform a Hard Reset. Make sure you have the power button, the camera and the comm manager button pressed while reset ing the S200. The other way is to take a look at the startup folder and see if there's a program that is automaticaly launched on startup that changes the speed of the device. The only thing you have to do is delete that entry...

Hope it helps.

I did try it to do hard reset the way you said, in the end this really helped.

I removed the battery and left it for about an hour. Then plugged my USB cable, done what you normally do on Hard Reset, by pressing Photo button on the side and Comm. Button and pushed the pen. When phone stopped at the point where I could see 3 colours, at the bottom USB text appeared. I re-install new ROM and magic! My phone is back from the dead  :p
