I have upgraded to LVSW Windows Mobile 6 and satisfied with its performance. But the same SMS problem is still here.

When i get SMS and reply it using its REPLY option then following message appears:-

Your SMS cant be sent.
Your call barring settings are enabled.

But when i go to my contacts, select the name and then send him msg, SMS goes very fine without any error.

I did not had this problem with built in ROM at the time of purchase in TYTN. Its quite irritating as i communicate alot on SMS. I know there are alot of genuis people around, so any solution will be appreciated.

what number are your replaying to? (usually SMS replays the international number).
check your call barring, i use SMS all the time, never saw this error.

When I place a Video call (3G / plan allows it) :
- I receive the image from the other 3G phone,
- But the Hermes internal camera sends a black image (no image ?) to my Hermes screen (my video small) and to the 3G phone I called.
- Same problem for incoming and outgoing video calls.

I applied the relevant reg tweaks (htcTweakUI, fit4cat Hermes, ...) and patches.

I've been having this problem since I flashed my Hermes for a WM6 ROM.
It was working with WM5 (but don't want to go back...).

BTW : a hard reset didn't fix the problem.

Anyone ?

I reply SMS to both international and local numbers. Call barring settings are fine, all set to OFF.

I have just updated with this rom, but isilo installation complains this is not a compatible device. But it doesn't happen on the old version of the rom. Could anyone confirm this?

Same ROM... but it works OK.
What is your radio version ?

Windows Update, or the M$ web site. You need .NET 2.0 or greater on your PC, not the device you are attempting to update.

Also, I'm running a 1500mAh battery which fits the same as the 1350mAh. I travel about 50% of the year and have come to rely on the phone. Im also waiting on the release of the 1800mAh battery. You're pretty much too late for that. Your serial # has been flagged. Next time read the ****ing boards BEFORE you do something stupid like sending in the phone with these ROM's on it. OR, live in the USA where you can tell them to **** off and replace it anyways because the ROM didn't cause the damage.

this was my 1st wm6 flashed rom from wm5; by LVSW the excellent hightech Russian chef! It was bloated with about everything and still peformed great!! R.I.P.
