I am one of those guys that HAVE to try all new versions. So I have gone through JWright's, PDAVeit and darkforce.

I have to say that the best in terms of stability and memory leaks is Darkforce 2.10.0. I have deliberately not reset my UNI for 3 days and after my normal working (phone calls, pushmail, ereader, msreader, solitaire, battery pack pro 3, the availble program RAM has never gone below 19M. The comparable figures in JWrights and PDA Viet was 8M.

This is not to trivialise Jwrights and PDAViets efforts. They did a fantastic job when Dopod just ignored any updates.

Lastly, I am so pleased with darkforce that I am going to resist trying PDAViets 2.10.01.

Best rom I have ever tried.... so far! Never hangs on startup. Never freezes or slows down. GPRS connection always strong and re-connects ok. And a nice bundle of extras over the darkforce rom it is based on (although why it has TCPMP AND CorePlayer, I have no idea!)

After using best WM6 ROM's Helmi's,PDAVIET,Darkforce I can confirm the latest ROM of PDAVIET is the best for basic functionality. I have not yet try pushmail or BB. but can confirm no hangers, no signal drops. Memory stability is amazing!! no leaks or what so ever. It starts with 27.85M after soft reset and drops to 25,3M after 24 hours usage.

The Backlight settings in this rom have nothing to deal with thoose presents in DarkForce Rom. The settings tabs for brightness , battery power in dark force seems to come from a Windows mobile 2003 compared to thoose in pda Viet or jwright.

colud someone pleas tell ......what new do we have in thus ROM.....it seems like the only change since Helmi v1.1 is only the icons and some added programs.....it is really funny to fire our devices every day dor nothing....OK guys i will keep watching until there is a real improvement at the new ROMs...eg. Yep, I'm with JW 2.01.06 with the needed tweaks and it works. I just had to configure the destination folder.

This ROM 2.10.1WWE have the same Bluetooth problem of DarkForce Rom.

You can pair the Jabra 250v easily.
But when you make a call, nobody can listen to you, meanwhile you can listen the other person.

Does anybody have any solution for this problem?

I dont have this exact problem. The problem I am having is that it will just drop the BT headset, and when i go into connection settings Bt has turned itself off. I have to soft reset and turn my headset off constantly. Any one else with similar issues?

Unfortunetly, :confused: It have similar program installed such TCPMP and CORE, In my opinion, TCPMP should be deleted, but a newest program such contact fix (for fixing reading first-last name, instead of last-first format) and contact backup are truely added value.

In my personal opinion, comparing with rom cooked by darkforce, I prefer pdaviet to be kept on my pda, following are some of my reason:
- it has running program icon
- more stable (so far)

I've been testing Jwrights 2.01.06 for a weeks. And I can't ressist to install PDAVIET, so Let's go !

After soft reset is much faster than jwrights 2.01.06.
PDAVIET has a lot of apps. Some of them are very interesting.
I miss the button configuration of video call (Button 2) because it's not activated. I always configure this button to calendar.
Someone knows who to activate this button?
One bug: The keyboard backlight is always activated.
My first impression of this new rom is good.

This is one of that fastest roms i have ever experienced. I am having problem of PUSH EMAIL synchroniation. sometimes it is ok and sometimes it shows following error

This is one of the fastest roms I've ever used. Havent tried games on it yet but my medical books are zippy as hell and cross reference works like crazy where I could have coffee and come back for this.

But I miss the video call.
Radio 1.15 is giving me calls in areas where i had dropped signals on 1.13 & 1.14. But still cant change to GSM from the Auto mode on the phone. Wastes lot on the attempts to search for 3G and UTMS signals especially in areas where it is not available.

Can see the extended rom but cant store anything on it despite all the hacks and cracks to unlock & unhide it.

Well bluetooth is buggy since WM6 headset keeps disconnecting luckily i can make and receive calls while it is connected. No incoming com port so no active sync and somehow despite getting an outgoing port for BTGPS navigatiors dont connect to the GPS.

I succeeded in AS via BT. After you pair the devices, go to the PC settings and find the defined COM port. On PPC enter BT settings again, and you can now enter the COM port. I have synced many times, no prob. File transfer a breeze.
It seems my phone keeps getting disconnected. Radio 1.15.
