OK, new version of Hard-SPL, this one is based on an MFG; seems HTC popped a stealth CID-check process in this, bastards, found and patched it anyway though.
CURRENT FEATURES
-SuperCID
-no file signing required
-no password required to authenticate with bootloader
-rtask commands enabled
-lnb command enabled
-bad NAND can be recovered with "task 2a"
-bad NAND can be recovered by flashing an OS.nb
-SPL protected from all HTC retail SPLs being flashed by accident (to bypass, use SSPL)
-bad NAND can again be checked for with "info 8"
-version displays 1.30.Olipro
Version 1.30:
-Fixed SPL protection bug
-rtask commands enabled
-based on an MFG SPL
Version 1.20 - initial release

yep, that's exactly it, once you have Hard-SPL, there's no need to bother with CustomRUU any more.

im talking about mfg spl for trinity. i see you don't know anything of it.
when i used imeicheck unlocker i got this spl.
and i use lnb command to flash os.nb via mtty.
i have only one question how to return original spl? just flash whole original rom?
btw, my battery drains very quick with your hard spl.

Takes the same time to flash an OS in NBH with non-MFG bootloaders if you put only an OS in the NBH file.
How can i return original spl to make 1.01 MFG from it? Or can i make unlock procedure with your spl? Just want to know, coz i don't want to get bricked device.
If you run imie-check's unlocker again you'll have 1.01 again, but this will remove HardSPL from your phone.
how to return original spl? just flash whole original rom?
Put the SPL you want to load in a NBH file (header type 0x200 for trinity SPL) and flash it using SSPL, this will overwrite Hard-SPL.
If you flash from bootloader Hard-SPL will not be overwritten.
btw, my battery drains very quick with your hard spl.
As oli said, this is non-sense... will drain the same with retail's HTC 1.07 spl.

On contrary, 1.01 MFG is likely to be drawing more power, successors are better optimized for power conservation.

well, mainly to allow you to flash unsigned ROMs to the device without Soft-SPL. and secondly to allow you to recover the device if anything gets fucked up during a flash... such as the radio, or the OS.

no, that's not your fault, that's due to this fucking forum software; when the site is playing up, the zip files don't download properly.
your option is as follows; keep trying till it works, or 2) download FlashGet and use that to download it instead; flashget can tell it's corrupted and redownloads continuously till it gets the file.

If you flash it on a CID Locked device, will it become CID Unlocked or do you need to unlock separatly???

Has the issue where Hard-SPL would have problems with os.nb's made by Tadzio's toolchain been adressed yet? Some people get whitescreen after flashing those "improper" os.nb files.
Is it something you (Olipro) can fix/prevent in a future version or must Tadzio fix his toolchain?

You can put device in bootloader mode manually and start update after, then u'll use HardSPL instead of SSPL. And yes, you're getting the advantages of it, because if flash process is interrupted, you'll be locked on HardSPL and be able to reflash again even if your radio is corrupted.

(Already posted in the SIM-Unlock thread) :o (I know it's no good posting it twice - please disregard if already read but I'm more blocked than my PDA).:(
Hi,
I have bought an Orange SPV M700 unit from Orange (France) with the best will to contribute to evaluate ROMs or whatever without risking my main unit HTC P3600.
But the first day, I've fallen into deep trouble. I've done the following steps:
- Install Olipro's Hard-SPL. (OK)
- RUN Pof's procedure without loading SSPL first (apparently the radio ROM was installed, then I ran the PDA utility and sim-unlocked and superCIDed the PDA. SIM is unlocked.
Now I have the problem. I cannot flash a new ROM. If I run Hard-SPL or SSPL the PDA screen fades off in a few seconds until the PDA looks off.
If I run a ROM update procedure (I've tried official Spanish HTC update and also official HTC WWE ones and they start looking to work but... around 13% of the process, the PDA screen fades off and dissapears. The PC utility keeps running until the end and indicates the ROM update was successful. At PDA re-start, my PDA is still running the original Orange French ROM.
Could anyone help?

I have tried to update the ROM with your ROMUpdateUtility (Olipro) and I get the following:
- When trying to update a new GSM ROM section the screen fades out and the trin looks like going off.
- When trying to update any other ROM sections everything looks like working, the Trinity remains on and the bar reaches 100% but, at re-start, ROM remains the original one. Nothing changes (splashscreen, OS, etc).
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I am not 100% sure that the reason of my case actually is the 4GB Mini SD TOPRAM inserted in it during the process or just a kind of 'bad contact' within my Trinity.
Anyway, I recommend you avoid having a memory card while updating ROMs.

Also, let's say after installing this and I flashed my phone and failed in the middle, how would you recover it after having this installed?
After installing this, and let's say I wanted to install the the offical ROM off of HTC's website, would I just install it like I normally would or would you have to take some special steps after installing this?
Lastly, will this void the warranty? Thanks in advanced.

I had this problem and what I did was try to do the romupgrade while the pda was in windows then when it asked to launch bootloader I pressed yes, after that it would give me another error while the pda went into bootmode, while in bootmode, I ran the romupdate again and it updated without any problems. Ok, the main post has been updated, please download from the first page on this thread.
Sorry about the wait, I only got round to figuring out the bug last night; it seems the usual SuperCID patch doesn't work since this SPL uses a different way of returning the CID, rather stealthy in fact, but I found (and patched) it anyway.

put your device manually in to bootloader and tell me what it says...
also, i know it sounds weird, but just try running it again. I think mine did that to me once when i changed spl's to 1.30.. second time it worked. Either way, though, the flash to new bootloader is very fast.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a bug in hard-spl as there are too many variables at play, but putting on Des' SPL triggered something to allow my radio to finally update, first time, after it failed with hard-spl1.30 installed probably 30 times trying different combinations of radios, ROMs, locks and update methods.
If your radio refuses to update despite the upgrade procedure going smoothly,
and you've got guts, temporarily pop on Des' SPL for the radio upgrade, then put hard-spl back on - it might work for you too.

- using Des's SPL?

Seems a lot of you can't flash a radio; tell me, is there anyone who can?
to give you guys a bit of background to the issue:
the SPL has built in codes that it reads from the NBH which it uses to determine how to handle each segment of the NBH, for example, 400/401 is for the OS and is accordingly flashed to the OS space. the radio is 300 (if memory serves) and hence if the MFG SPL is configured with a different code, it won't recognise it.
pof sent me the SPL and I had no reason to suspect there would be anything different in it.
unfortunately (for you guys) I'm currently on holiday and so I don't have access to my dump of this SPL, so you'll have to wait till September for me to check it out. what I think I'll do is once I discover why the radio won't flash (hopefully due to a different code) I'll patch the code to match the one of regular SPLs, which should fix the issue.
Cheers,
Olipro

Hello everybody and thanks for all info you gave us on this forum...
I'm totally new to Trinity and as first job to do I was trying to upgrade mine Radio ROM. For doing that in a safe mode I've read that could be better have Trinity upgraded to Hard-SPL 1.3 (now mine SPL is 1.23).
Doing that by using files on this forum I've got the problem of "246 error" and also if I try to re-load Hard-SPL when Trinity is in bootloader mode (three colours screen) anything happen or better I've the slider on screen who tell me that upload is going OK but it is faster ad reach 100% in few seconds and anything change...
I did the above operetions many times so I don't think that if I will try again I will able to solve...
Maybe could be better if I use Hard-SPL 1.2 instead 1.3? If yes where can I find it?
Thanks a lot for every suggestions!

Hi,
I followed the intructions on the screen and confirmed on the device (which the installer suggests) to accept the file for installation, had an Activesync connection , battery charged 80%, USB cable connection was working. Then the screen chaged to the simple USB color scheme (for the ROm update i guess) the Amber light which was constantly on (as charging status though USB), switched off and nothing happened anymore. The installer came back with an error and said that i should check my USB connection as it couldn't communicate with the device.Restarted phone. The Phone is NOT dead and working as the ROMupdate was not competed. When i tried it again, the phone doesn't ask to confirm the installer but goes straight to the simple USB color scheme for the ROMupdate and doesn't respond, the ROM update utility again comes back that i should check the SB cable as it could not establish a connection
Any suggestions?!?!??!?

if you want to overwrite the hard-spl, you need to load it without manually entering bootloader

well, what you wrote doesn't exactly make sense.. 1.07 is the default factory bootloader, so just run the Hard-spl installation..
if you're having trouble, put SSPL on your phone (there's a sticky in this forum) and run it.. then run the RUU for the hard-spl you want.

just keep the device connected to usb, leave it in the tri-color (bootloader) screen and restart the Rom Update Application. if in doubt, follow this guide (http://trinityguides.info/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=21)
Thankyou this seems to have worked

ok, just want to make it short: (P3600 user)
1. I have WM6.1 ROM (FleNover 3.3 Black edition) installed.
2. When I want to downgrade to WM6 official, after 20% it goes error.
3. Now, it only shows 3 colors.
4. Here is my PDA information in 3 colors:
TRIN100
IPL-1.00
TRIN100 MFG
SPL-1.30.Olipro
5. When I want to upgrade with WM6 official, after my PDA shows the progress bar, it restarted and the update screen shows Error 286.
6. How do I fix it?
thank you very much

First of all, I'ld like to thanks all of you for your great work.
I'm sorry about my english, I'm spanish, and there isn't easy to me to explain my problem.
Well I have a htc s300 that a friend of mine gave to me because he could't repair. He tall me what happens until the pda stop working.
1. First, he change de rom of vodafone for one of wm6 and the pda become bricked.
2. After he try to restore with other rom, he don't remember which one, and the screen was black working only with de leds.
3. Finally, he try to open de pda to watch if all its component was right.
At the end, when he gave me de pda, the screen wasn't working, no leds, nothing on screen.
I try to make soft reset, hard reset event boot menu, the one of 3 color, I think the pda is working because the usb is enable when I put the pda in boot menu, but i donīt see anything. I olso try to see the screen to find something broked, but the screen is perfect.
I try everything a read, splxploit, mtty, and several hard spl, olipro 120, crashproof, etc.
I would like to ask you if you think there is a problem with spl ipl or maybe screen broken or maybe other problem.
Thanks anyway for the help you can bring me and I'm sorry again about my poor english

with the splxploit i saw that the information of the ipl wal 0.50 but the information of the spl was error in memory position.
with the mtty, i try several times task 28, i think is format command, well, the most of my tries, the mtty was brocked, some of then it finished the task, maybe the problem is in the board.
I would like to know if I can try anything, or if just brocked as well. Thanks.

Ok...I am thoroughly confused. I've read all 16 pages of this thread and have no clue where to go. I tried updating my p3600 to wm6 w/o hard-spl and it locked...then unlocked with splxploit, then tried to run hard-spl to then update to wm6 but i am getting the "error 270 image file is corrupt" message. I then saw a post saying that you cannot hard-spl the p3600 (trinity). Can someone please clarify this for me? Either in this post or in a pm. Thanks a ton.

Hello,
I currently have OliPro 1.30 and for some reason I am unable to boot normally. My Trinity is stuck in Windows booting screen. I can however enter the bootloader and do anything in there.
I was thinking of uploading a new radio but the upload process just remains at 0%. After canceling the process the phone is stuck in bootloader and I have to "unbrick it" with splxploit. When it first restarts from splxploit I can see in the bootloader SPL-1.20.Olipro but this reverts to Olipro 1.30 after another reset.
Is there any way I could downgrade to Olipro 1.20 from bootloader?
Thanks

You should try SSPL : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=293632
And if it doesn't work the Des' Crash-Proof SPL :

Hi Oilpro, thank you for putting up this, I had been working my dumb P3600 for 12 hours still no luck getting this up, in the end i manage to find out it was due to bad block that seats on on radio rom itself! Is there any way of making this work using Vista and it's device manager? Or does it need to be done usind XP and autosynch, or could it be done using mini-SD. Hi
Managed to brick my phone when updating the rom. I have tried to use splxploit but I a noob (an old one at that!) and I seem to keep getting an error that says "The Image file is corrupt" when trying to load a new rom.
The process I have been using is
1. run splxploit
2. when it finds an exploit it asks me for the path of a file
My question is, what file to use. I tried olipros and des crashproof but to no avail. What should the file look like?.For eg RUU#$@$%^^^ I have tried to show the screen

Do NOT use Hard-SPL 1.30. It has a bug that prevents flashing of radio rom.
Instead use Hard-SPL 1.20 (http://www.mediafire.com/file/jmmrmqj2yjm/Hard-SPL_1.20.rar) or DES' Crash-Proof SPL (no link, sorry).
@Olipro: this is a major bug, why is 1.30 still linked in your original post? Reflashing radio rom is one of the most frequent recovery tasks.
Please consider adding this info to your first post and discourage users from using 1.30.

Guys i figured how to go to back to hard spl 1.20 from bootloader stuck hard spl1.30 mode. here is what i did:
1. i was stuck on bootloader with the 1.30 hardspl and neither soft reset or hard reset helped me kick off bootloader mode ( tri-color mode)
2. i flashed my original windows mobile 5.0 ROM (RUU_Trinity_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.23.707.6_6275_1.35.00 .11_108_Ship) using the sspl rom update utility onfor vista since i am using windows 7x64 bit, to my trinity and god helped me. my trinity kicked out of bootloader and rebooted in to windows mobile 5.0.
3. downloaded hard spl 1.20 and flashed. Phew!!!
and my radio is upgrading now.
one more question will the hard spl be removed or messed up if i use the sspl rom update utility for vista i found when i was searching the forum?
other than that everythings fine now. thank god and the super duper xda dev forum for helping me.:D

Hi!
I use my two Trinity since a long time with different ROMs without problems.
On my TRIN i have HSPL 1.2. But now one drives me crasy
It crashes some times, so i flash back org. WM5 but it doesnīt work over USB.
I try to update with SD and it works. Looks like original, old RADIO and SPL.
Next i try to install again HSPL 1.2 but i always get a connection error after SoftSPL comes up.
So i flash Olipro 1.2, Radio 1.56.70.11 and WM6.1 by SD.
Now all looks and works fine but i can still not flash over USB.
What did i wrong?

Ok ,
you can find to install this SSPL by Des on your device and then run it.
After that, you can upload your HSPL.
It have solved many my similar situation.
