When someone calls me it shows +1 then there phone number i just want to see there phone number only without the +1 is there a regedit for this .

for examble phone displays +1 (555) 555-5555
I want it to show (555) 555-5555


Please this is so anoying . im runing wmxl 0.10 wm6 by kyphur

There are some newer WM6 versions that have been released...you might want to give one, or more, of them a try.

I run the Cingular 8525 ruu and I get the same thing.

I assumed it was becuase I have UK/EURO numbers in my phonebook

It may look weird or annoying to you, but It is actually a good thing to have.
My calls will not complete without "1" and the + will make it possible for you to return the calls working overseas.

Try going to contacts>options and entering your area code.

+1 is the international dialing code for US??
par example the numbers shown on my device have +44 before them (UK dialing code).

"+" is international
1 - US
7 - Russo
33 - France
34 - Spain
44 - UK
49 - Germany

Actually, I face a bit different situation.

my phone shows (123) 456-78 when I make a call or receive a call,

can it be 1234 5678 instead ??
