The site claims that only the D810 is supported, but isnt this just a bunch of programs and the HSPDA enabled?

Would it be possible to enable whatever is compatible with the D810 on my D838 pro?

I can confirm that this registry change results in X-series being available as an add-on through Planet3 on a Dopod 838Pro.

Works for me as well. I'm using x-series as we speak.

Works great for my dad with a Dopod 838 Pro and me with a Treo 750v. Yesterday I hooked up my Treo to my MacBook Pro for some web surfing on the train for over an hour. Worked great!

have you confirmed you are being billed as x-series? I'm just a bit nervous about signing up and then three saying well you don't have a compatible handset so we are going to charge you for 500mb at 'web and email pack' rates!

If anyone can confirm this somehow I would be much obliged.

you will get a available MB screen under my account details or somthing like that. It tells you that you have XX MB left until the end of the month. Also under value packs you will be x-series somthing appear and you will be charged for the x-series pack.
