Hi,

It really depends what rom your using. I'm using the O2 original rom on this its Start>Settings>Screen>Landscape left or right>then launch TomTom.

Hope this is more helpful than the last reply!

MDheh. Long day. And instead of spending my time guessing what phone, ROM, apps, etc. besides TOMTOM he is using, searching is the best option. There are TONS of threads already with this info.

If it's tomtom 6 you are using then it's a non starter. The facility for landscape mode was taken out. You could go back to tomtom 5.2 as this has the facility in one of the preference menus. Theres little difference in navigation barring the updated maps.

Don't talk shite.

It may have been taken out of tomtom but you can still run it in landscape. Set your ppc in landscape mode then run tomtom. Therefore tomtom runs in landscape mode...........................................

You can asign a hardware button to rotate to landscape function and press it before starting TomTom. When you close it you just press it again.

wow.. why can't people just be nice and help. I have tomtom 6 and run in landscape all the time.. the method i use is as follows.

I mapped the rotate function to the camera button (don't use it THAT often) so after i start tomtom.. but press the camera button and viola!

I do it the same way, but i have it mapped to voice button, and it works great!!! dont use it that much with tomtom, but you can!

One thing, why would you want to? cus i find myself that due to the screen size, it is better running Por as when in land you have a smaller screen! due to the bits at the bottom, but i guess it everyone to them selfs! LOL hehehehe

I prefer landscape as the ETA, milage etc. figures in the bottom right are in a bigger font and easier to see while driving. I also map screen rotation to a hardware button but wouldn't it be good if TT brought the function back and so give us back one of our precious buttons.
