Hi,

Been using my trusty XDA II for several years now and noticed that scratches on the lower left hand corner hinders the character recognition. On newer devices, you are able to change the orientation of the screen from portrait (vertical) to landscape (horizontal). Unfortunately, the XDA II doesn't seem to have this ability. Is there software available that would do this?

I've already changed the screen protector but not much improvement. The store wants me to change the screen but it costs waaaay to much

changing rom to a
2003SE or 2005 rom will add that option

there are tools which let one do it on normal 2003 but they require a softreset at each change of orientation
you can find them using the search option of the forum

Thanks Rudegar for the quick reply but I had difficulty sorting out the items in the search strategy using "landscape" and "XDA II" as keywords before I posted initially.

Can you please more specific as to the search words I should use.

Thank you
