I need to find the CID unlock.. any kind soul to upload this file? 2.15 bootloader

1st you need to know if your Prophet is a G3 or G4. For now there is a solution for G3 to unlock the CID. For G4, there are paid service online to do so but there are people here working very hard for a solution to unlock the CID in G4.

What you have stated 2.15 bootloader, there is no such thing. I believe yours is AKU2.15 and you are in your boot loader screen.

Please do a read up before you ask these questions alot of information are in the XDA-wiki.

But the installation says that was unsuccessful because I do not have sufficient system permissions

..the ExtRom for the Mobiz-ROM is integrated in the original Step1, so it's not very wise to 'just use another' aku2.2 for alternative step1-installation.
The ExtRom will be missing.

As for the sound-probs, try different radioroms! You can find them @ the xda-ftp.

Hey All,

Just thought id post how my upgrade went.

Phone: Imate Jamin G3

Problem 1 - Step 1 - When it finished the phone would stall on the Blue imate screen with all the SPL info etc. would not boot. i waited 15+ mins, rebooted numerous times but nothing would make it boot. FIX: I rebooted and did the hard reset ( format fat partition etc etc ) and this fixed it, blue screen came up for 2 mins then went to boot up windows as per normal.

Other than that the rest of the install went fine. i have noticed that it wont charge in a PC that doesnt have activesync installed for some reason. charges fine in wall and in my PC with the Active sync connection.

Also - i was under the impression WM6 had HTML emails? Doesnt seem to be showing up for me :(

Other than that phone seems fast and i like some of the apps that are included..Well done to all involved.

I made 2 call and they told me that my voice is terrible too.
The HTC Audiogain registry values had been modified from originals in this rom.
Look at this post:

Download the original HTC Audiogain registry values from that post and modify yours in your registry to match the originals.

Perform a soft-reset and your voice will come back to normality ;)

10 steps to unlock CID of Dopod 818Pro (Prophet) with SPL 2.15

We can unlock Super CID of the device with SPL 2.15. Let's follow the steps below :

1. First, Download the unlocking program at http://files.pdamobiz.com/c/PDAMobiz.com_ProphetAKU2_unlockCID.rar and then unrar it to appropriate folder.

2. Full Backup the device then Hard Reset. May use Clear Storage in Setting menu.

3. After Hard Reset, tap screen to reach Align Scren page.

4. Connect USB cable to the device. ActiveSync will ask to create new partnership. Press Cancel.

5. ActiveSync connects the device as Guest.

6. Go to the folder of unlocking program. Run the file name "Downgrade.bat". Wait until the screen ask for pressing the key. Press any key and then wait wait wait for about 20 minutes. Don't disconnect USB device while in process.

7. After finishing the first process, press any key to exit. Soft Reset the device and bypass creating partnership to connect as Guest again.

8. Run file named "Unlockcid.bat". Press any key when asked and then wait for about 3 minutes. If everything is OK, the device will be unlocked. Press any key to exit.

9. Soft Reset the device again. Notice that Boot screen will show OS as 1.0.13.21

10. Now the device is CID unlocked. Users have to flash to favorite ROM. Don't use the device with this ROM. It' s purpose is for CID unlocking only. It cannot be really used.

Special Thank to Chan and Ruchonburi who sacrifice their working hours developing this CID unlocking program. Excellent job !

A thing little weird is happenig when I'm trying sync some docs.
I added some Office files in folder to sync with my PPC, but it doesnt happen. I can sync only my note and music and other files, but any Office (word, excel) file is possible sync.

Any idea?

Just install "PP_O2_UA.CAB" from your original o2 extended ROM and you will be able to use PIE with the o2 Flat again.

Well after a lot of farting, cussing, smashin, and cryin i got the this ROM to install. Its not hard at all to install, however I have to admit gathering information across the xda-developers board is somewhat difficult, moreso with the invalid links to some folders in the xda-developers' ftp.

Anyways I'm going off on a tangent...this is how it went down

Until today I had never upgraded my Prophet. I was with the stock firmware and radio and such from, I think it was February 2006.

After trying to install this thing directly, and getting an ERROR 300, I realized i had a G4 (already knew that part) but was CID locked. To be honest I still to this exact second have no idea what in the world that means. So i then decided just to update some things...

I installed the following file: RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe

I realized later this evening that hey, i have the no vendor ID version installed...so then i retried this version of WM 6. Everything basically went smoothly. I forgot that after step 1 nothing was truly installed except AKU 2.2, so I went ahead and hit the align screen thingie. Well that was my bad, so hard resetted from that point, and followed the instructions for step 2.

This resulted in WM 6.0 being installed...i decided to let the ExtRom install. It did install a lot of stuff, a lot of useful stuff...but with the exception of the games, nothing i would really use. Furthermore, I heard and saw that WM6.0 is supposed to be faster than WM5, and while in some cases this was true, generally it was not. So then i hard resetted again but didnt let the ExtROM install. A lot faster now :) I am still configuring my baby, gotta get my email up and running and such, but when I am done I will gladly take screen shots if you want..

Oh a side note, I installed today AS 4.5 (coming from 4.1...hey if it aint broke dont fix it eh)..i am still have trouble with RDNIS connection (i think that is what it is called). I noticed how WM6 has native USB serial option (i thought it did...again a novice in comparison to you guys)..so I found that in the Connections-USB/Computer option. Didnt really worked. Installed USBKiller.cab, didnt really worked. Went back to Connections-USB/Computer and unchecked the box, and boom it works now.

I am really happy to see that USBKiller.cab will stay with the option SERIAL even after soft resetting. I removed the Thai keyboard from the startup folder, and it is no longer the default SIP. It reverted back to the Keyboard, although the Thai keyboard option is still listed, but once I am finished configing my baby it will be Transcriber that will be my default SIP.

I installed the image on my O2 XDA NEO. Works Great. I used the ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe utility for my O2 NEO.

1. It did get stuck in step 2 when installing the extrom programs, but I did hard-reset as suggested and it worked.
2. Got rid of Thai keyboard by deleting the Thai keyboard file from windows\startup folder.
3. My phone is much faster now and has definitely better cellphone reception.

I have installed on my imate Jamin. Install of both steps went fine. But when installing the extended_rom cabs. It installs several then stops at about 99% of Installing Battery_status_0.04.cab.

I have hard reset (several times) at it still hangs at the same place. On soft reset, device seems to work. But what am I missing from the extended rom after the battery status

Did this happen to anyone else?

starting for RUU_Prophet 2.2 then WM6 PDA Mobiz,then down to 2.2,then Smart1 v2,then back again to 2.2 then now 3.3 aSerg(WM6 often dead,can't hold my breath for slower ROMs)

Hello there, do I have problems with the pairing of the free hands of the car, it pairs me well but on the following day he asks again me of pairing it, I have realized that when the name of the device spends this to him it puts several squares, it happens to someone more, you can solve it like?, only it happens to me with the free hands of the car with the rest of devices does not happen to me, and with other roms it has not happened to me either.

2. Does this build/ROM, whatever it's called, have the new DST rules for Canada/US and other countries that may have followed them? Reason I ask, is that I tried installing the file from Microsoft (WM5DST_signed.cab), and it was installed unsuccessfully.

I have a QTEK S200 G4 and everything is working right, bluetooth, wifi, etc, but I can´t decrease the volume during a call. It is kind of loud for my ears. The volume icon moves up and down and even in the lowest, the sound stays the same.
Anyone else with this problem and know how to solve it?

That is the exact problem I have. I also can move the volume slider and in the lowest when should be no sound at all, it is loud. If I put it in the highest, it is for deaf people.
Maybe we can fix this with some kind of regfix.

Either that this the rom works like a charm. Not as fast as people say specially in what regards to graphics but its very usable and new features are cool.

- Go to registry.
- Perform a search for "ThaiWinCE" (without quotes).
- Into the route \HKCR\CLSID you should find an Alphanumeric key with a DWORD Default = WhaiWinCE Keyboard.
- Inside that alphanumeric key, there is a subkey called "IsSIPInputMethod", and inside this last, a DWORD Key called "Default" with value=1.
- Change that value to 0 and it's done ;)

Yes it does. Look for "Soft Key" in Settings.

I 've been using all vesions of PDAMobiz Prophet WM6 ROMs.
Button1&2 can be remapped using other software like AE Button Plus (http://ae.inc.ru/aebplus.php).
Just do not map them to any built-in keypress actions.
You can map tehm to run any other application.

Hi thanks a lot for the rom, its more faster now and I like that programs included a lot.
I have a problem, I installed the g4 version and now I see that my phone is a g3. It seems normal and all functions are going fine but I have fear if something will happen and if its better to reinstall with the g3 version now. But I think its strange that that version works for me.
And one more thing, I have changed that registry value for the ir problem and phone was turning off everytime it was like 5 minutes in stand by off. I changed registry to normal and now all seems ok

Hi,
I 've been using all vesions of PDAMobiz Prophet WM6 ROMs.
Button1&2 can be remapped using other software like AE Button Plus (http://ae.inc.ru/aebplus.php).
Just do not map them to any built-in keypress actions.
You can map tehm to run any other application.

Did anyone found a way to low the sound volume while doing a call?

Actually the sounds lows a bit but not that much, and even in the lowest is way too loud, it's blowing my ears off, i have to use a bluetooth head set for all my call for now!

if anyone knows a reg hack or something to solve this the rom will be perfect for me!!

You are right. I din't notice it before as I didn't use button1 to really close apps with a single press. But I do assign it (long press) to close apps.

That is the exact problem I have. I also can move the volume slider and in the lowest when should be no sound at all, it is loud. If I put it in the highest, it is for deaf people.
Maybe we can fix this with some kind of regfix.

- Go to registry.
- Perform a search for "ThaiWinCE" (without quotes).
- Into the route \HKCR\CLSID you should find an Alphanumeric key with a DWORD Default = WhaiWinCE Keyboard.
- Inside that alphanumeric key, there is a subkey called "IsSIPInputMethod", and inside this last, a DWORD Key called "Default" with value=1.
- Change that value to 0 and it's done ;)

Yes - don't reset with the hole in the bottom - turn the device off then back on - after this you can reset.

I have tried all of smart1 wm6 roms and also this PDA Mobiz fantastic 1.00 ROM, and I would say, smart1's wm6 ROM is undoubtly the best one.

When I am using the fantastic rom with a bluetooth stereo headset to make a phone call, there is at least 50% chance my friends could not hear my voice, but I can hear the voice from him. It is weired, but it happens a lot, which drives me crazy! I just went back to smart1's v2 rom again. I guess I will just wait for Smart1's new release and stick to his rom in the future.

By the way, if I do not use bluetooth stereo headset, it works fine with the phone's own speaker. So, it is just a bug with bluetooth.

I used some WM6 roms posted in this forum.
The best i used is PDAMobiz over Qtek S200.
The only problem that i haven't resolved was the GPRS icon and connections. When i do a softreset, i can connect normaly to internet, and others things. But when the put in standby the qtek, gprs icon disapears and i see a "X" without connections. Can anybody solved this issue.

I just found that with pdamobiz wm6 1.0 Rom the car charger doesnt work.. and since i use the prophet a lot im my connected to a gps receiever i really need this to work or battery wont last for long

Joao this trick solves momentarily his bundle:
- Soft-Reset, when the image of Qtek appears you connect the cable to the pda.
While you do not do another soft-reset, you can connect and disconnect the cable that will keep on charging you.

Just upgraded to this amazing OS.

Did not allow extended rom to run (soft reset immediately after setup completed)

Everything is fantastic (pun intended! :) ).

Only issues noticed till now are:

1. IMAP mail accounts disappear after a soft reset. Can anyone help fix this?

2. Some duplicate notifications are always found through memmaid. (Had this in PDAVIET WM6 v3 too!). Can anyone help fix this?

Anyways, these problems or not, this is an amazing rom and am keeping it till v1.1 ;).

I've a big problem: I can't use the gprs connection, once I launch it appear a message that the remote modem has disconnected!

I have a O2XDA Neo, PDA Mobiz Xbow ROM is wonderful, I do not have any major problems since installed it 2 days back, there is one annoying problem, everytime my PDA shuts of the display, and I press the power button on, my PDA gets softreset.....this doesnt happen every time, I tried finding a pattern for this issue...but there is none...and help from to get rid of the problem is appreciated....

It happens like to Joao and of several persons that also happens to him, but they that there are other persons to whom it does not happen, there are rare things of the roms based in WM6, do not behave equally in a few machines than in others

yes, i had the same problem.
If you lock the device and then switch if off, iy should be ok.
I installed VJLOCK and assigned it to a button as a workaround

Yes. Turn off your 'Lock' Password! If you do that, the device no longer turns itself on.

You might want to downgrade to WWE aku2.x version and do a hardrest before you upgrade. I got this error before cuz I didnt downgrade/format.

Problem solved.
I had to use a desktop with Windows XP + Active Sync rather than my desktop running Windows Vista + Windows Mobile Center.

First I downloaded the most update ROM from MyQtek.com web site.
I managed to installed using the desktop with Windows XP + Active Sync.
After this step WM5 was running again on my Qtek S200 G3, and it was ready to receive WM6!

Then, using the same desktop I run ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G3.exe located on Step1.rar file and finally I run UPGRADE_ROM.BAT located on Step2.rar.

Then I downloaded and installed Radio-Rom 2.61.21.

Everything seems to be working find so far

I guess the problem was Windows Vista + Windows Mobile Center.

Present configuration of my Qtek S200 G3 is:

Wiindows Mobile 6
OS 5.2.968 (build 17217.0.0.0)
OMAP850-195Mhz
Memory: 51.99 Mb
Expansion Slot: In use
ROM version: 10.2.0.8 WWE

This may be a newbie question, but every time I try to install WM6 on my imate JAMin, the RUU completes normally then the phone resets and I go back to ROM version 2.15.12.27.

I tried to downgrade to AKU2.2 then upgrade to WM6. Still no luck.

Well I install it and used for 3 days.

Really nice version. I installed and then when it will install the extra applications I stoped the proccess (I do not like all those applications). So result more free memory to install the applications I like.
