In this rom:
IR DOESN'T WORK =/
bluetooth works!
wifi works perfect! :)
windows live messenger works perfect :)
NO DRAIN BATTARY FASTER !
Aprox. 31MB free ram (if you delete voice commander in folder star up at folder windows)
The PDAMobiz wm6 rom is only the one how give you a total 51.96MB total ram!

to put keboard default just go to \windows\starup and delete the file 'ThaiwinSetKBD.exe'!

Yes..
It's just like the other ROM's released on this forum; you don't need to unlock your device to flash it.

My experiences with the WM6 XBow 'Fantastic Mobiz' ROM v1.00

The v1.00 is simply awesome!
Installed it two days ago and uptil now it's been running like a charm; stable and fast.
These were my first experiences:

* GRPS/WiFi/BT/MMS working fine (and saving settings after multiple soft-resets)
* Battery charging's fine (even from car, smart1's rom failed to do so)
* Battery drain normal
* Sound/Phone/Messaging/Contacs/Ringer working fine (using RadioRom 2.47.21 and 2.61.21)

1 small thing on installation:

After installing 'Step2' (the actual OS-ROM) and hard-reset, I noticed the sound not working and the ExtRom
wouldn't finish it's installation like it did with the v0.99. It hang after installing one of the last cabs.

I just performed another hard-reset and this time the sound was working and the ExtRom finished it's installation.

apps all working great, everything's running smooth! No bugs found at all, that's a first!
(Except of course for the IR and the 'taskbar-bubble' Wifi-link which says 'Turn on Wifi'
when Wifi's already turned on, but I believe there already exists a fix for this little problem)

So I think this ROM's a keeper :D

Do I like the explanation very much, but if until April 1 it is not possible to do anything so that you put the links?. it seems to me correct that wants to be extracted free of bugs, but then do not put the links so that us descargemos the roms that perhaps later do not serve us because it is necessary to arrange the bugs that encontreis and the rom will be necessary to unload again. i remember that mr. zyberlee said that this is the release version.so dont worry about downloading it again. the only major problem is the infared issue.and from what i've heard,mr zyberlee said that its gonna take quite some time to fix it. so dont worry about redownloading it again.:D

Just an advice, mask your e-mails when you put it in the forum... If google can index the words there is also a number of sniffers that only index words in the form of xxx@xxxx.xxx so they could create a database that spammers could use to send SPAM... Please protect your selves...

Yes, if you want to share files with other devices you need to activate the beam ór pair the devices..
but with pairing you can only use 2 COM-ports at the same time and it takes a lot of time :p

Just turn on the beam+BT and you can receive files sent by others.
I guess 'all incoming beams' doesn't only conclude IR-beams ;)

Installation

Before you flash this (or any other) ROM be sure you know what you're doing. (Read Wiki (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Prophet))

Install ActiveSync 4.5 (needed for WM6) and find out if your device is G3 or G4 before applying any of the 'Steps'.
Make sure your battery is fully charged and that you backupped whatever personal shit you want to backup ;)
Don't backup your programs/filesystem/registry etc., as your device will become unstable when restoring.
You'll have to reïnstall and reconfigure your apps/settings after installation of this ROM.


* Extract both the Step1 & Step2 rar-files

* Enter the bootloader on your device (soft-reset using stylus, while holding down the camera-button, until 3-colorscreen appears)

* Plug in the USB-cable (text 'USB' will appear in lower-left corner of the screen)

* Now execute either the ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G3.exe or ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe, located in Step1.rar.

The base(AKU2.2)-ROM will now be installed together with the Mobiz ExtRom (Extended ROM).
Leave the USB plugged in, even after installation has finished. Let your device boot to WM5 and just leave it be.
Don't tap the screen, don't touch anything. As your device boots, Active Sync will try to connect and prompt the
'Synchronization Setup Wizard'. Click 'Cancel' to let AS connect in Guest-mode.

- You might get an error popping-up on your device when syncing, no worries! just leave it -

* When the upgrade's finished, hard-reset your device (soft reset with stylus while holding down camera- & commanager-button. On question to format, press Send-button)

I'm testing the WM6 1.00 rom...

I think we need to find "old" Qtek WM5 T9 keyboard...

1-Well it seems I have the same problem as p4k1t0, as if I do the registry tweak the IR works but the phone shuts down from time to time...

2-Another issue is that the phone always puts that (I think) Thai keyboard on default making me switch it each time I use the keyboard...

3-Another thing i've noticed is that this rom is very sensible to overclock cause when I pass the 230Mhz barrier it starts to show abnormal behaviour...

4-I was playing warfare inc and I don't know if this is related to the rom but when I exit game the phone just hides the top bar (start) And things look bigger, like icons and stuff.. It just looks like it switched screen resolutions...

This rom is really fantastic but as I said a few time ago, we are never gonna see a flawless rom, whatever the AKU or WM version...

Hi, now i upgraded from version 0.99 to 1.0.

All works fine. Now i need test all i need it.

- This release has a extended rom with several applications. The aplications are executed from \Extended_Rom\Programs. In Programs menu, has shortcuts to all of these.

- The radio version was update to 2.47

- There has some shortcuts isues in Program Menu: various Media Player Shotcuts, Terminal server client not work...

- Keyboard are in Thai by default, but you can change it to English: similar that version 0.99 or Smart1 release.

Hi all..
after 2 hours testing my Qtek S200 G3 with PDAMobiz Prophet WM6 V1.00
I can notices same issues:
- Wifi not always can be enabled, i've rebooted the PDA
- After reboot Connections settings and Wifi settings are lost
- and also may be I've lost the "Regional Settings"
- Cannot receive MMS, may be my wrong settings, but nothing append when they came...

Other minor issues:
- T9 keyboard is missing


Also like WM5 when I'm using Wifi connection CPU usage reported by battery status is always over 80%, to lower this huge cpu drain do not set Power mode to Best performance...

Good, after installing what it had, I have to say that this rom does not go very thin,
1 - Resco Explorer does not work
2 - Phonealarm does not work.
3 - Wifi does not connect to the first one
4 - Keyboard in thai, although it changes it after a softreset returns to keyboard thai again I Will keep on trying but I believe that I will return to Smart1, more compatible with all the programs that I have.

you can use windows mobile center... is perfect!! is not necessary you install the active sync 4.5 ;)

some issues I wan't to report.
* The device model sometimes shows a square (even if I shut down the device properly)
* Cannot find Greek regional settings (all roms had greek regional settings except the pdamobiz roms)

Other than that very nice rom but you cannot say it is "bugless"

2)Stick to lvsw 2.3 PP8 mb or jesterz 2.2 with ur customized Extrom. these two seems resonable good, stable and fast( especially lvsw 2.3 PP8mb)


Please do not expect any merit/demerit comperision from this, i always respect ones effort in trying/presenting best to community, but trully we need official relese of WM6 for prophet

Yes, Prophet is such a great device. We really need an offical WM6 for our prophet.

After some reset, needed to enable Wifi (not always the trick of Enable Wifi on the ballon works)
- I've noticed a heavy Storage file table (FAT :) corruption
- also I think MMS download not always works, no mms are losts: just a few hours are downloaded, I think it's the Messaging application bug.
- Activesync via Bluetooth does not work after some resets

Anyway it's always a great job, I think to revert to WM5 Italian ROM, and searching for T9 Keyboard, dictionaries, I'm a ppc developer may be I'm going to write a simply installer to replace MMS and regional setting at boot ;)

the Battery status overclock work I've tested it all night at 273Mhz + Wifi + Opera + TCPMP

I Agree with you 100% and I am falshing again Lvsw rom and I will use PDAMobiz ext_rom files with it, so the extended rom will be usable ;)

Thanks guys for this ROM. I've been playing with it all night long (as the
song); and I've been experiencing those nasty side effects about:

-WiFi only switch on first time. I noticed if I kill/end commmanager, wifi can
not be set any more until soft reset. If I left CommMgr at background, then
wifi can be switch on and off.

-thai Keyb. After deleting \Windows\startup\thai*.* and soft resetting,
normal keyb is the default.

-Some processes seems to be starting/stopping ramdomly (or my task
manager is getting crazy)...

Then I noticed after running customization my prophet do not soft-reset.
I manualy soft reset after customization Then everything stabilished.

All of them are working well. I use a Gmail account with WiFi synch, and a
corporate lotus-notes (with GPRS). All config data survive soft-reset.

Now i perform a backup (sprite), clear all memory and a restore; remove
again thaiwin*.* from \Windows\startup and soft reset (I mean switching
completely off the prophet and then on).

But I must maintain commmanager running to switch on/off WiFI... no problem

I'm going to test 'second call-in' to see if i can get that second call. Smart1
ROM has this problem.

I think you do not understand what I am trying to say:
I did Step 1, the ROM was 2.15.13.27
If I am supposed to see the ROM as 10.2.0.8.1, I am not getting it.

At Step 2, I always get this message:
"Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version, maybe it is inuse?
try restarting your device, or restart activesync".
I did this many times, still cannot.
Did I do something wrong?

in order to make IrDA usable is quite dangerous.
It is something with power management, u might have to HardReset.

But I don't have any problem with my fone after changing this IrDA reg entry.

The only program that i can see in the ext rom that actually gets installed is opera. Obviously there are some links created in \windows\start menu\tools and maybe a few reg entries.

I just would like to give opportunity to others for testing a great rom.

(I would support the idea to go purchase the official rom from MS., if exists in the near future)

This rom is not the obligation for any one to use.

This rom is the option for any one to test and see the new great features of XBOW.

So far, I'm happy with this rom and found no bugs, (including the IrDA).

I would be happier than this if ones will expect to get BUGLESS version from MS, not from us.
The main intended purpose is for testing and "see" new features of XBOW.

Ok, the ROM is great.
Had some problems with charging battery. After resteing my prophet it started to charge but when it finished, htc hanged :(

regarding the car charging problem, it needs to soft reset 1 time.
i've never experienced that kind.

Both working fine over here. No soft-resets needed!
You could try the XDADev_Batfix.cab..

I have installed XDADev_Batfix.cab and now if that the battery charge in the computer, but I have had to turn-off with the side button since with a soft-reset it continued without working.

This rom is giving me many problems, more problems that any other rom based on WM6 or WM5, 2 times has been found by off completely.

I think you 'd better wait for smart1 v3 rom, the rom will be ready very soon. :)

First ofall, please be informed that I'm not the one who made this rom.

I just would like to give opportunity to others for testing a great rom.

(I would support the idea to go purchase the official rom from MS., if exists in the near future)

This rom is not the obligation for any one to use.

This rom is the option for any one to test and see the new great features of XBOW.

So far, I'm happy with this rom and found no bugs, (including the IrDA).

However, please do not get me wrong. I did not blame or anything to Fantastic ROM. My question is straightforward; no hidden message, no irony, etc. I just want to try a clean ROM.

I did try SMART1 v2 with some problems and will try again soon; I've never complained on his works I have to figure it out myself; if it's beyond my capability I have to give up. Only that I have to use my device everyday so I have to come back to WM5 AKU3.3 PDAMobiz (Chan)'s clean one for now. When I have free time I will for sure try ur ROM and SMART1's and everyone's.

I do not understand his sarcastic comment, only I have mentioned that this rom has given me more problems that another rom, and I have put both my conclusions and my thanks whenever he has got a bug ready, but if you say it then I will wait for myself for the V3 of Smart1 that being you more understood that I in these topics will continue his advice.
