Hi all
There seems to be some tension between the "experienced" members and the "newbies"
I can absolutely understand the frustration being expressed by the senior guys.
There is a lot of information already on this site that everyody who knows what to do has trawled through. Please read it and make sure you use the search. I know the search isnt perfect but it does seem that some people aren't even bothering to try!
If you don't even know how to unzip a file then you should not be trying to flash a rom on your device. Understand that this is a risky business and you need a bit of technical knowledge. Everybody here is happy to help, but if you don't have the pre-requisite skills they are not going to hold your hand and wipe your a**e!
Also please remember that other people do actually have a life in the real world!!! and aren't just sitting on this forum waiting for questions to answer :)
Please don't post the same question all over the place. We all know when new posts have been made to a thread (the forum kindly make the thread bold for us) and I can assure you the knowledgable people will look.
Read the thread you are posting in before you make a post (at least the last day or so of posts!) and if you are returning to a thread, make sure you have read whats been posted since last time.
Finally, flashing is a risky business, if you don't want to take that risk then don't do it! None of the other members here can guarantee success or take any responsibility if things go wrong (even if they have made a suggestion to you that didn't work!) It is quite difficult to brick your device unless you are one of the brave guys who is actually cooking the ROM.
Good Luck and enjoy all the new ROMs and big thanks to the guys that produce them for us.
P.S. Please don't flame me saying "it's not me" or "i do search" etc. if everybody behave then this will remain a happy community :)
