problem with hardware

my ppc now the charging led alway in orange color,althought i not plug in the usb cable,if i`m plug out the battery, ppc will hr.when i plug in again,checking the backup battery still full,check in backlight the bright i just only can change the option " on power,it mean i`m charging(the true i`m didn`t plug the usd to pc) so that if i plug in and the battery full(green led),when i plug cable out,the orange led will appear and then i feel like the batter down very fast,just 2 hour .please help me:confused:

I've same problem long time ago, but repairing cost almost half the price of Alpine(I guess?), the best choice is using several batteries...
Instead of shutting down power button, use system's turn off screen backlight function, you will keep you Alpine working for 6 hours. (mine is an 2400mAH)
