how to get my contacts from my dead MDA PRO

I sat on my MDA PRO screen which is now bust. I bought a new MDA VARIO II, but and its a big but I cannot update my contacts from my MDA. ACTIVE SYNCH sees teh 2 devices as different devices . I am pulling my hair out. Any tips on how to get my contacts back.

ANy help will be a life saver.

I think that when you sync your mda vario ii, it will have the option to sync your contacts from previously sync pda's. Goodluck!

I'll give that a try. My Laptop Synchs with both of them, the hard bit is trying to get the contacts moved across. I have managed to transfer the other less important files.
