Hello! I installed this ROM this morning, and so far so good. I haven't tried TomTom yet, so I don't know if it still hangs with POIs marked.
As of yesterday, I was using LSVW ROM. We'll see if this official ROM is an improvement.

It's just a new drivers for audio so it seems improve the quality when using these handsfree:

YC A120 Y-Cable adaptor
RC W100 Remote Controller
RC E100 Remote Controller

NO new ROM release!!!!

In the HTC website there are two softwares for download, the one you mention but there is also a ROM. I have downloaded the ROM from rapidshare since the IMEI of my pda is not accepted by the HTC website (it was Vodafone locked).

I foud a couple of posts related to this issue and now it is clear: once the new GPS enabled rom is installed one only has to install and start the navigation software and select the com9 port for the GPS. It works.

Do a search for TrinityHacks 0.3, you can activate a option there that will show you GPS definition after soft-reset.
