Hi.
First of all...sorry for my poor english
I have a problem with my
HTC P3600 (Trinity)(RUU_Trinity_HTC_ITA_1.23.408.1_6275_1.38 .00.11_108 _Test upgraded)
about the UNLOCK process of the extended rom.
With HTweakC i've made it readable so,now,i'm able to view the content.
After this i've tried with registry hacks i've found in various topics to make it writable with no success.
I used also HERMES_..rom.cab but the ext_rom itsn't writable yet.
If someone knows a solution or a simple advice i'll be glad.
Have a nice day.

There is a solution by OLIPRO which is supposed to unlock the ExRombut it does't always work,on the other hand if you use the SIM/CID unlocker by POF you will get a super CID device with an unlocked ExRom but with issues about your warranty.
If i were you i'd wait a bit especially if your device is new .

ok,tx a lot for ur useful tech info...i've searched for Olipro post and the SIM/CID unlocker and i've found it...about the warranty problem,i thank u for the advice,in effect my device is new...but curiosity...
In the meanwhile i'm going to try with registry hacks again and i hope i'll solve the problem without the unlock process.
If someone will found new tricks about this problem...i'll be glad to read it here :)
nice day at all

Olipro's extrom writeable unlocker isn't working.
At least it didn't work for anyone so far when we tried it a short while ago.
