why are you all in such hurry? Smart1 has posted in an other thread that v3 was not ready yet. isn't it better to wait til smart1 is finished with the version and might have elimenated all the bugs then just pressing for a release that is not finished. the release might me the last upgrade we have to make in a long time if we let smart1 do his work. and not presure him to release it.

hi dmc3,
first of all nice to have you here in this forum, a great place to hang out when it comes to our beloved XDAs. Secondly please don't open so many unnecessary threads which topic's are already dicussed/answered in other threads. Please make sure you read the other threads first and search for your answers. People in this forum are very helpful to beginners, but from my own experience (yes, I also was/am a newbie) there is nothing more annoying and upsetting if questions are asked over and over because someone don't want to spent time and effort to either flip a few pages back or hit the search button. I don't want to sound rude, but please use existing threads and I'm sure you will be heard and helped... Anyway I wish you alot of fun here at xda-developers.

I would like to know if there is any possibility that the nastiest bug i have come across with wm6 will be solved:

Soft resetting the device results in the machine "forgetting" the security pin code thus driving to a forced hard reset.

Can this be solved? Is there any possibility that someone uses a newer version of WM6? If i can recall properly, the build of wm6 available around is from august 2006. Isn't there a newer one?

Best regards and keep on with your hard work! :)

Solved in the PDAMobiz ROM. However, it only forgets the PIN if you have the device charging when you soft reset. Just pull the plug before you reset.

To bad, this small problems make me wanna stick to Aserg's .13 ROM.

About this v3 ROM, I read that Smart1 has some personal set backs. So I think it's best to leave him. In time their will be updates. Altough you would not think of it all the time, there is something called "The real world..", "Isn't that worth fighting for.." ;)
