Anyone know if the Wizard is compatible with Fido's Name Display feature?
I have it as part of a value pack but everything is just the same as before. I only see the number and no names. Just want to confirm before I call in to complain :P

I'm on fido as well.. I think it's specific to the phones that they carry.. meaning that it's probably a specific software..

My HTC Touch XL does not also use Fido but Rogers as the network. And I am in a plan in Fido. Weird. But the name display is alright. Do you know if Fido charges roaming in this scenario? I should have not changed the rom...

Have found solution on the fact that your HTC Touch is "connecting" to Rogers. Actually you are already connected to Fido. Found that out in my own HTC Touch. Fido's MCC/MNC is 302720. You can correct this using a Registry Editor.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Microsoft>RIL>OperatorNames
make a "new string"
Value Name: 302720
Value Data: "Fido" or any name you want (don't put any space)
Hope this works.

rogers took over fido a couple years ago. same network.
that's why rogers tends to sell a wider range of devices as well.
