Resetting call timers belongs to the same league as IMEI-changing.

It involves direct access to the RADIO-part of your phone and can render it useless easily.

lies!
1 bootloader command can't brick your phone.

Hi,

What I said where no lies and when you say "a bootloader command cannot brick your phone" then you don't know what you are talking about.

Notice that I did use the word "CAN".

For your information:

mtty is a tool to communicate through a serial communication, which is actually made through USB (tunnel).

With it you can send commands through the bootloader directly to the microcontroller of the radio part of the phone, which is a chip/device of it's own.

If you make a mistake sending those at-commands, you may i.e. change the way it communicates with the rest of the phone, thus you render it useless. If you know what you are doing, that should not happen.

what's that with? AT@SELFDESTRUCT?

I challenge someone to be idiotic enough to brick their phone through the standard AT interpreter.

Ok. I reconsider what I said.

By the way: is there a known list of AT commands?

I did. Only Bootloader commands are listed, not the AT-commands.
