Updating the splash screen after lsvw rom upgrade

Hi folks.

Just have a question for your professional advice. I have updated the lsvw rom with spl 1.3 olipro in it. Now I would like to change my splash screen. According to the instructions, I need to change the bootloader to 1.01mfg. Now I am a bit doubt how I should update my splash screen... some questions:
1. Should I update my bootloader to 1.01mfg, then load the splash screen, then re-install the bootloader 1.4 oli using his bootloader package instead the instructions listed in the 1.01 mfg suggested by pof?

Should someone point me to the correct direction before I make my move? Thanks so much

no.....
...firstly update your SPL to 1.40.olipro (http://www.mrvanx.myzen.co.uk/hermes_guide/HardSPL.html) as this is the best and latest version.

All you need to do is use the technique in the wiki to make the .bmp files then convert them into .nb images (Mainsplash.nb and Subsplash.nb) and then use duttys good nbh tool to make these into a signed .nbh image.

All you do is flash it using CustomRUU instead and they should work fine.
