Hello, I as you know also have the TrueNeytral and the charge of battery for usb me works perfectly and in the car also, in the PC it charge me between 210 - 280mA. The only problems are the Russian characters, for the rest it goes very thin. Greetings

To install TRUE follow normal procedure to WM6
That's:

-Downgrade to aku 2.20... If you previously had a WM6 or aku 3.3..
-Activesync 4.5
-Conect prophet via USB in normal status (not necessary to place it in -BOOTMENU)
-Execute upgrade utility (a .bat file)
-Wait no longer than 15'
-Dont touch anything, i recomend turning communications or phone off
-Anything happens in appearence but after pc message in MSDOS, hard reset -must be done.
-Now you are done.

It would be great if a russian speaker could give some info from 4pda.ru forums to change .dll in order to switch language typography in this rom.

This is the stimated time i have been experiencing, anyway is i wrote, and many others did... You should not unplug usb until system tells you to.

I've installed TrueNeytral a couple hours ago. Registry change of Keyboard is not working for me, but Resco Keyboard yes.
If i change registry of IR my Prophet restarts each time switch on :confused: . Original values are '15' (not '14' as you say).
Also some original ring tones (setup/personal/phone) are not recognized as valid wma files.

Hi all.
I've been using TrueNeytral WM6 two days. Actually for me is the best WM6
implementation I've flased to my dear prophet. Things I've used:

-USB, Wallet and car charge, all work fine (car charger required software
reset with cable plugged to works).

-WiFi: I've wireless router to internet, with no problems starting/stopping WiFi.
Windows Live, Google Mail, everything OK. Configuration resists software
resets.

-GPRS: OK, corporate mail (Lotus Notes) working perfect.

-Bluetooth: Stereo Sony HBH DS970, handsfree Jabra bt-150, freedom bt
keyboard, parrot ck 3000, GPS Zaapa. Multiple connections (parrot & GPS)
work, tomtom returns after receiving a call (this is the first ROM to do this)
ActiveSync over BT to my desktop working also (TrueConnect over BT!)

-IR: NoviiRemote working with no tweaks. Changing registry as stated at top
of this thread for IR gets my prophet to shutoff completely when hibernate,
so i cannot use file and vcard transfers over IR, but I think this is a OBEX
problem, because IR port is working for NoviiRemote.

-I have no incompatibility at all. WisBar and SPB Backup is supposed to get
into trouble, but not for me.

-Finally, battery drain is correct. I've been monitoring two days, and
consumes 4-5% at night and 30-35% with normal use; checking once an
hour mail with GPRS and 30-40 min. call.

-Cannot map HW buttons 1 and 2.

It seems to be near RTM...

Russian Keyb: Install Resco Keyboard and SPB Full Keyboard with dictionary completition. These are apps I use normally.
Contacts: Again Pocket Informant & Pocket Breeze, I don't use standard apps from M$. Pocket Informant traps links to std apps, so 'contacts' is hidden for me.
Dialer: I've installed cabinet from first post, but normally use voice command over bluetooth handsfree to dial.

I'm trying to isolate me from lang/reg issues. The cost is to have to install these apps...

Yeah! I've got the same problem... But this problem happened to all Crossbow ROM as i've been trying around many ROMs. Nothing can be solved... i guess.. it's bcoz incompatible sound driver...

I am trying the first one. It works fine. It includes latests releases in radio and some other features like updated commanager and battery issue fixing.
Main problems:

Russian fonts on keyboard, contacts and dialer
Still charges poorly through USB +80 (in my case!)
IR not working properly

SOLUTION for keyboard in latin font:

EDIT (for instance with resco):

change to "040a" OR install RESCOKEYBOARD
Dialer in latin typo (see attac)

I am becoming rather pesimistic about WM6 roms. It seems there won't be any release for prophet devices. All transitions from other device's roms are not gonna suit perfectly in our prophets. That's a fact. An OS is not as flexible. Remaping all registry keys is not a matter of luck or work.
You have to know the entire code and values. That's my overview now...

Our best hope is PDAMobiz 1.1 right now. My biggest gripe is the button issue and the device turning itself on continually when you have an Exchange account.

I have been using Mobiz 1.1i for a few days now. I have missed a few calls because it won't ring. Hang more often than I like (may be from overclocking of 240). Even without overclocking, running WiFi programs hung the machine quite predictable. ActiveSync always automatically comes on. So far, is your Russian ROM still holding up to your expectations?

In post number 1 there is a cab which can solve that.
Here i've attachd another fine cab for the keyboard. It has a nice looking skin, just for english language OS. It solves cirilic problem.

You are welkome, thanks for your releases. I tried your 1 and 1.1 and i have to say that works just fine. Now that your rom has become international it would be great to use latin type characters in your next release (eehehehe)

As far as i know, people who installed 1.2 have come across some difficulties with the new bluetooth drivers in that ROM.

Hello TrueNeytral, also have used your version 1.1 and also the 1.2, it seemed that it was improving with the drivers Widcom but was giving me many problems, was going more rapid than the version 1.1 but in the end I had to remove it because I was not fine, and since I do not understand Russian looking in your forum could not know if it was happening to anybody more. If the Battery Status is correct, then sometimes it drains about 181mA and sometimes for no reason 640mA and the battery level show dramatic change at next sync.

Battery Status info is not on real time, it may vary depending on the cpu level of work. Default setting is a 5 sec refresch time. Try other application or other battery status version. Just in case. I would just worry if you don't get a +value when orange led on. That's what happens once you plug your xda into the fireplug of the car for instance. If you softreset without taking the plug off you will get a normal charging.

HEY GUYS, nice to hear that 1.2 is running ok. It is a god new for our prophets. I have also heard that some extrom files can solve the problem for battery charging isue with the car fire-plug. A guy in a forum said he kept the extrom from aserg 3.3 and it worked.

YES! I have flashed it on my xda today. It works smoothly and fast. You don't realize it is wm6 except for the speed. Everything working but charging on my car without soft-reset. Keep on searching for a solution for that. Anyway no complaints!

Prophet_WM6_17217_TrueNeytral_1.2clean works quick and true clean. In My opinion is the best WM6 Rom for Prophet. But has one big bug for me. Sometimes after soft reset disapearing keys in dialpad. Then need a few soft reset ;( It's WWE but has small difficulty for WWE users: in Contacts russian letters in alphabetical index and in finding by pressing up/down keys.

1)Not working Internet Sharing
2)Not working Streaming Media
3)Windows Media Player don't play AVI
4)Have somebody deutsch language (germanian OEM part ported from Charmer)
5)Loss some system sounds
6)No keyboard backlight.
7)No WiFi.
8)Bluetooth & IrDa not tested yet.
9)Not working "Picture theme" mode in camera app.
10)ringtones not change from control panel (but it may change from registry)!!! Phone settings panel no close manually(only reboot or "end call" button). IMHO it's main bug.

WIFI working 100%
BLuetooth working 100% even with handsfree and GPS. Parrot ck3100 doesn't loose parity
Sounds working properly, louder than before. Calling ok! noticed that when i hard reset after flashing got no phone pad. I installed a third party one. You can have it in this post.

In my case not tested streaming media nor internet sharing...No need for that. 3rd party Software replaces that anyway.

I feel like it boots faster than 1.1

17913 with bugs(no WiFi etc.) is only beta. All my relised ROM's maked on 17217 build ported from Wizard(RUU_mUn_aRTM_10_2_0_8_WWE).
Relise v1.3(17217) planned on 15 may 2007. Big problem not detected.
IMHO russian keyboard it's not hard bug. Russian language are beautiful and it is a easily difficult language to learn.=) Offtopic, sorry.

Almost one week with Trueneytral 1.2clean on my prophet and everything working ok. It doesn't hungs up! no freezing, no softresets... Just smoothness and speed! Wifi and bluetooth really accurated and fast.
just this softreset before charging on my car issue, which is even healthier for my battery: too much charging cycles will drop battery's lifetime. And the comsuption it is normal. No need to charge in 2 days with gps, wifi and everything running quite a lot of time.

During restoring some files, my phone dial pad got lost and I spend couple of days still couldn't get it working right. The entire dial pad area is white. The area is still alive. That means if I press on the white area and there is response but just no display. Can some one able to tell me what files that was getton clobbered and what the registry setting should be to get the display back.

OK, I checked and both files are there. Then I uninstalled the cab file and the startup file is not there, but the WiFiInit.exe is there. Wifi still works AFTER uninstall of cab.

No CAB, but wifi OK!

I love the work you are doing to make the Prophet work with WM6. For the moment I am running TrueNeytral1983 1.2 clean version. stille has minor bugs , but hey I can live with those. Eagely awayting 1.4 (1.3 gave me problems with phonepad).

It is possible to download but i don't advise you to, as it has severe bugs with wifi. It is not possible to connect. It will be solved in 1.4 and it is on its way from Russia! The link is somewhere in this thread. I will patch it in 1st post now.

Hi, Did flash my S200 with this rom and must say , first impression very good.
But I have same problem again with phonepad. If I istall another dial skin ex : wm6-BB-smartdial_MCB-EqX.cab (do not need the russian characters)it goes wrong. Skin is on there in correct size but actual active buttons very small in the left upper corner of the screen. But if I use a design without the smartdial ex : wm6_blue_basic_dialpad.cab everything works perfect , but smartdial is not present. I really like this feature, so somebody has a skin that I could use , that enables smartdial and works ??(Hope I explain myself correctly)

The clean 1.2 version did not have this problem.

Yes, I have the same problem with these Russian ROM's. You either get a nice English DialPAD without SmartDialing or you have SmartDialing with a mess up DialPad or undesirable looking DialPad wasting lots of memory for skins. I am using PDAVIE now. Couldn't say that is problem free and I am downloading 1.4 but seems to be alright. It provides lots of memory.

bluetooth complicated but well find out how to tune it up. Working bt gps with tomtom and trying with activesync. There are new services on my pc bluesoleil now.
It is really fast. It is smooth booting and executing.
Not working navigon at the moment
Battery drain is normal but too soon to say something bout it

The camera is still 3, so it is not going to give us problems as someone said with batt...

Very good rom, but very bad the widcomm bt, is not it possible uninstall and put the original drivers?, the widcomm only give me problems, 2 times it has given error of insufficient memory, I have had to do softreset, with Miomap error of port COM, except that it makes free RAM small. First of all, congratulations on good job.

I have same problem. It says ther is not enough memory but I have 20 meg free. If I do softreset I can open bluetooth. but only once. the second time I try to open it (after having closed it of course) it says not enough memory again. I went back to 1.2 crean, runs perfect for me. also the dialpad still is a problem, see my last post.

yay! bluetooth turns on for me now. at least stereo audio which is all I have tried. Not sure what, if anything, I did to make it work. I did throw a few cabs from this site at it, and soft resets, and something seems to have stuck. The blue led is not flashing though.

As for the earlier question about WWE, I don't know if wwe mean more than one language or all in english, but I've only seen Russian writing on the keyboard and dialler of this rom, and those are easy enough to change.

About the speed, I still think it's good and very nice work overall. Experiencing a very small, but noticeable lag for certain button presses. Probably not the rom, though. I put quite a few bits of 3rd party software on there almost straight away though so one of those is most likely to blame.

Battery charging, time to deplete etc, after 1 day, everything there seems to be working very well.

well this post is no help for helgo and anyone in the same situation, but can I just say...no BT sound problems for me so far with this new one...

and no problems getting started with BT this time - I had to soft reset one time due to the memory, but my cheapo Jabra 620s headset is playing more nicely with this bluetooth stack. Before, it would not resume play from a shortcut, but only after searching with the headset every time. Now, no such problem.

To anyone who saw my previous post 2 pages ago mentioning button lag, the problem was definitely the 3rd party software I had installed. My relatively "clean of 3rd party apps" phone is now as responsive as I need it to be, without overclocking.

I really do not understand what SPB backup does to your device, or when is does it. When you try to backup or when you try to restore.

Anyway, when you have started SPB backup, select tools>> advanced options>> and there you can remove the checkmarks in front of:

"Stop processes before backup"

Spb will backup and restore just fine, I haven't had any trouble, and I change roms ferquently :D

I really do not understand what SPB backup does to your device, or when is does it. When you try to backup or when you try to restore.

Anyway, when you have started SPB backup, select tools>> advanced options>> and there you can remove the checkmarks in front of:

"Stop processes before backup"

Spb will backup and restore just fine, I haven't had any trouble, and I change roms ferquently :D

Looks like there's no VOIP bits in this release - I dont suppose its possible to .cab back in - any chance of releasing one with the VOIP stuff still in? (The ROM seems great overall!)

Possibly a problem with the EAS component as well - syncronisations failing with 0x85010014 (fine before)...

I've tried a few ROMs now, and what I particularly like about this one (apart from how well it runs) is that any additional programs programs have been added in the extrom as cabs - makes it very easy for end users to do simple customisations like removing the Russian bits for English users, etc.

Hello, good my experience with the latter rom of TrueNeytral is very positive, that's why in Spain this Franlov translating for the Spanish this rom, everything works correctly, but there are 2 things that I have never known about the roms of TrueNeytral:
1 - Because the change of method of writing is so, so slow? When you give to the arrow to change one keyboard to other or to handwriter is late very much in be opening, that has gone on with several from the roms of TrueNeytral and only with his roms.
2 - it are dialers that do not work well with his rom, for example wm6-BB-smartdail_MCB-EqX, , with others roms they work well, and another thing that us does not work is the dictionary T9.
There are 2 things that bring us a little from head but at the moment the best rom that I have proved,

Want to share my VERY positive tests of Prophet_WM6_17913_TrueNeytral_1_4MS, (=Microsoft BT version)

Pre-install config
- G4 Xda Neo
- NVID 2.2 WM 50 rom (good 100% working rom - needs reboot 1x a week ).
- radio 2.47.21
- ipl 2.09.0001
- spl 2.20.0001
- Contacts Backup app used: ActiveSync 4.5 on winXP.

Installation of TrueNeytral
1. started Active sync
2. turned off radio etc on neo
3. removed russian keyboard (trueneytral_keyb) installation entry from extrom
config.bat). [after testing I now realize I should have also removed
the trueneytral_apps, and bchs_for_pocket_pc_ozone entries too... see later]
4. ran upgrade_rom.bat
5. After batch app ended -> Did Hard reset and allowed extrom to install.
6. On restart needed to do a soft reset as it hung [due to SMSDRFix.cab installed by extrom - see later]
7. resynced Contacts etc using activesync
8. installed t-mobile network configuration mms cab and configured internet and MMS

After brief test, I removed the apps that I didn't like using the standard WM60 software deinstall (total commander etc). I tried to deinstall the bluetooth app (installed as part of the bchs_for_pocket_pc_ozone extrom) but got an error, so it couldn't be removed.


Rom Test Results
No additional hacks installed. These are out-of-the-box TrueNeytral test results.

Positive:
- Model Number shown: PM200
- ipl 2.09.0001 (= no change)
- spl 2.20.0001 (= no change)
- os 4.0.0.0 WWE
- NO SD-CARD problem!!!
Always had a SD-CARD problem with other WM6.0 ROMs.
Have a 1 GB card with Tomtom 5 + music and a slowwww 2gb card
with music and I can now change between the two cards in
Media Player with no problems! Tomtom: no loss of maps any more.
- camera works even when overclocked!
- IR works super (yes: IR!!)
- Wifi works (no probs at all)
- GPRS (my network uses edge)
- SMS no probs
- mms works as should! both recieve and send: couldn't get this working on other WM60s..
- windows update works! Connected no probs
- 2 callers at same time no problem - phone announces 2nd person correctly.
- USB charging: initially recharging from USB did NOT work. I then turned off phone
completely, recharged to 100% using stardard recharger - afterwards
recharging from USB works fine!
- Bluetooth: Have a BT GPS and single-ear logitech headset. Both worked fine.
- syncing with activesync 4.5 works fine.
- intelli (smart)-dial works fine. numeric keyboard a _little_ strange, but WWE and still good [edit: its a skin - see end of post for removal)
- no russian text found anywhere apart from Total commander,
which you can deinstall successfully.
- battery life? Can't say yet. seems normal.
- No crashes yet. No need to reset.
- free memory? See later.
- Speed: very good. feels fast
- T9 - no problems as WWE. Can't seem to find setting to change to German... (have forgotten where)..
- no problems with calls or any lack of ringing.
- has standard WM60 look - no crazy wallpapers, todayscreens or such junk. The WM60 sounds are there too.

Negative Points
- don't understand what the \Extended_ROM\bchs_for_pocket_pc_ozone.cab is supposed to do. Anyone an idea?
Doesn't deinstall very well either... [Edit: I think without it there is no stereo over bluetooth.. I don't need it - maybe you do? Also, I think the deinstall went well, just that a few of the drivers were in use at the time...hence the message at the end of the deinstall]
- regfix.cab in extrom creates entries in registry for apps that don't exist: zip, acrobat reader etc.
Not really a problem - doesn't affect anything.
- Noticed after manual install of extrom (see below): Picture theme template is missing for camera. Maybe part of the truenaytral_apps that I didn't install. Can anyone that did a full install of the extrom prove this? Not a problem: Camera just says "no template" and goes to standard foto mode...

Thats it!!

Bottom Line
fantastic. Everything works as it should. Absolutely amazed. No going back to WM50 for me! No need to try any other WM60 roms again! Seems very stable, IR and Sd-cards work well. This is it boyz n gelz!!



Additional HARD RESET (some time Later... actually totally unnecessary - just to test a few things for you all)
------------------------------
Did hard reset and stopped installation of extrom by soft resetting before autorun.
Results:
- Program: 25.69 MB free (in use: 22.26)
- storage: 39.22 MB free (in use 3,33)
- standard smart (intelli) dialer shows WM60 original WWE numeric keyboard.
- SD Card recognition and swapping works fine even now.

Manual Install of Extrom
After manual install of everything in extrom EXCEPT: trueneytral_keyb, bchs_for_pocket_pc_ozone, trueneytral_apps
- then soft reset > HUNG after booting! reset again, everything OK. After retry of install of everything the crash was found to be due to SMSDRFix.cab. Do not install if you do not need it. Software seems unnecessary.
- russian set as default country setting, easy to change.
- numeric keyboard in smart dialler has WWE but with extra abc text under. Will change this in registry.
- Program: 25.27 MB free
- storage: 34.26 MB free


Comments that are not TrueNeytral problems, they are WM60 professional strangeness:
- no ZIP program (not part of WM60 Professional)
- No pdf viewer (not part of WM60 Professional)
- "Messaging options > Storage" shows 0% available space for storing attachments to sd card although loads of space available on card. This bug is due to the WM6 Bluetooth Explorer after a soft reset. If you turn off bluetooth manager then storage card in messaging options shows correct size. Not bug of TrueNeytral.


Hope this helps someone make a decision.

I reported this issue with the PDAVIET rom in the other thread. For some reason, I couldn't overwrite an excel spreadsheet in /storage card/my documents. any other directory on or off the storage card was okay.

Now, i tried again and you know what. it works fine... i can save into /storage card/my documents...

I have *no* idea how it got fixed. The only application i've installed between my reporting of the bug and now is phonealarm... i highly doubt that did anything to "fix" it...

I also reset once or twice.. nothing fancy. (but i've reset before trying to fix the excel save bug but it didn't help before). I also backed up my rom via sprite backup. again, i don't think that changed anything...

so really... i think it might just be a waiting game... it took me about 1 week ... maybe the excel save bug will coome back.. i dunno...

I created a simple spreadsheet in the default xlsx format in My docs in memeory, with 2 sheets and after the final save I tried to open it: Corrupt!!! Couln't open it on my pc either - also, excel 2003 needed a new filter to read the damn thing.

I just tried overrwiting an Excel file using SaveAs in My docs on my SD-Card: "File exists, want to overwrite?" - it worked fine.

EDIT: Although, thinking about this properly, the registry is CONSTANTLY being written to, and extended. And I have not had a crash in the last 2 days. Soooo, this seems like an Excel bug. My advice is to save in old format for the time being.

Since I do not understand what you want to say, that it is not even what I must do exactly, this alone mistake him happens to the roms of TrueNeytral, I have proved many, many roms of WM6 and WM5 and in no raisin, the change of method of writing is rapid and in the roms of TrueNeytral it is very slow.

Have tested the HTC Phonepad. You are right. in "Start menu > Settings > input method", if "keyboard" is selected and you change the setting to "Phone Pad", klick OK, and then go back into "Settings > input Method" again, the old "Keyboard" is still selected! The selection of Phone pad was somehow not saved...

BUT...(there is hope)

I worked out a way to get the language setting of the HTC phone Pad to stick (my first attempts to change the language got the same results as you - it stuck on english) - change the setting of phonepad in "Settings > input " to your language and then power down and up again. This way (at least on my neo) the language remained "german" after reboot and german came up when using T9.

Also, if you change from keyboard to Phonepad whilst in the Messaging app, then the phonepad stays for every app until you power down. Not a perfect solution, but most can live with it...

In messaging (for example) Changing from Keyboard to Phone Pad takes about 4 seconds on my neo . How long does it take on your Prophet? WM50 NVID 2.2, the O2 Neo official Neo Rom and Smart1vX take about the same time.

I just tried Windows Live quickly - got "Unable to establish an internet connection" (although IE was working over WiFi at the time). Do I need to configure it somewhere? I can't find a settings utility for Windows Live anywhere...

Ok, the Windows live works already, the problem is that it had the wifi and the usb connected at the same time, I have disconnected the usb and it works correctly. That thing about the change of method of writing takes me more than 4 seconds, and in other roms the change is instantaneous. Anyhow we are doing in Spain the translation to Spanish of this rom and go correcting the small problems of the keyboard and the T9,

I tried to install my preferred appliction on the ExtendedROM. Unfortunately I discovered there are already a lot of programs installed. How can I prevent the programs from being installed after I do hard reset?

I have seen Windows Live working once right after the new flash ROM. However, as soon as I restored a backup file, that capability is gone. Strange enough I couldn't get Windows Live working with brand new flash ROM again and I forgot which version of WM6 that I had seen it working once.

Do anybody get any idea? I think most people get the same error message that Windows Live cannot find an internet connection even the Explorer has not trouble connecting to the internet.

can you post what's on the error message? This could be something related with an alarm or schedule application. Which programs do you have installed?
That russian issue is something that you can solve easyly by deletting before flashing this line CAB: \Extended_ROM\TrueNeytral_Keyb.cab in EXTROM FOLDER

So...reflash again and you'll get rid of that. It also prevents to loose that transcriber input method

Russian keyboard is not a bug, it's a feature, as pointed out by redandr already!

For those who want Eng keyboard, the easy way, with these TrueN roms, do this:

Before (2nd) final flash, edit the EXT ROM folder. Delete TrueN keyboard (Russian) listed there. Add a keyboard cab, e.g., mun_rus Keyboard to list. Go to config.txt file, in same folder, & edit. Write in, mun_rus Keyboard.cab, exact name as file you loaded, within the protocol parameters. Be sure to SAVE AS & copy over existing config.txt file in this folder, before leaving.

When you flash, the result is a great new rom with beautiful Eng keyboard (colored) installed. Of course, you have to change Regional Settings to your Eng country for the other Eng stuff.

I'm trying to use an itech clip s35 headset with my prophet and the trueneytral 1.4ms rom

no problem pairing both, setting itech clip as de default headset and wireless stero, then it appears the a2dp icon, it works fine as freehands, but i can't hear music through it

I know this rom has the last bluetooth development, and it's no necessary to install any other cab to hear stereo music through a bluetooth stereo headset

can anyone help me?

- Excel runs OK on my neo. Am still testing to see if I get the same bug as I posted earlier (file corruption with new xlsx format).

- Never had any problems with Media Player and music

- WíFi is interesting. The Wifi On-off-on trick seems to connect my Wifi perfectly every time. If I only do one "On" then it only sometimes works. I can live with this happily.

The SD Card problem is sovled !!!!!!!!
With all previous ROMs, my SD card was not detected, but it detects SD Card and just you hve to remove one Russian Keyboard file before upgrading ROM then it is best

EDIT: One thing which i observed is that my battery is draining much faster than it used to drain with PDAViet ROMs, In night when phone was on standby, the battery gone from 100 to 85 in just 5 hours and then when i played bubbles for some 15-20 minutes it went down to 77%
And it is continuously draining

Can anyone help me out, what should i do, I want to tell you that I know that Backlight, Bluetooth, Beem and WiFi drains battery so, I have already set them off and Backlight is on the 1 point. So, all settings are perfect, if you can suggest me anything please do, I do not want to go back to PDAViet, I was having some other problems with it.

Sending MMS in the T-MObile Germany network works fine. Never stops at 98%.

What you said about the MMS is true. Strange. Lucklily SMS don't behave like that.

On my xda neo: Settings, Device Information says: OMAP850 with 195Mhz. Overclocks fine with OMAPCLOCK at 272 Mhz.

You didn't mention with which app you are reading your statistics... or overclocking with...

jellyme, TCPMP reads the values about CPU. The problem is that the CPU appears to work WAAY slower than under ASERGs WM5 Aku3.3 (PocketHeroes, TCPMP movies playback speed, overall speed).

i think VOIP doesn't work whether you have button or not
For beaming over bt or ir you just send through a 3rd party program like resco explorer with the option Send to IR recipient (or bt) and it works.TRy this one i att.

Test installing this commManager modified by Franlov (big Spanish cook), I have proved it and it works perfectly and very rapid the connection wifi. greetings

I kind of liked this ROM version, but I had to go back to another version due to wifi not working and that you could not change the the sound settings. Anyone that has a solution?

This is bad RingtonePlugin. We need reinstall it or use prevouis version. i resolve this problem in my 1.5RUS ROM(not released yet).

All my WM6 ROM's have this bug. Use program for softreset (psShutXP) and be happy.

Hi

I have upgraded my Dopod 818 pro G3 with the TrueNeytral_1_4MS bluetooth stack and have found the following problem so far:

1. My 2G SD will not detect in the Camera when I want to save to SD memory
2. Voice Command don't work? it's not available?
3. MSN messenger can't add account or login with I am using Wifi
4. Template for the photos are not there.

If anyone can help to solve these much appreciated.

1. I have no problems with the camera detecting the SD Card.
2. Voice Command works just fine, you need to enable it and assign a button to it
3. MSN Messenger in fact doesn't work. (I'm waiting for the NEW MSN Messenger to come out any time soon).
4. Photo Templates feature doesn't work, they are not installed (no biggie for me).

TIP: If you think that the russian keyboard and dialer are too annoying for you and don't want to install a fix (waste of space and not always work), just make sure you delete the file named "TrueNeytral_Keyb.cab" from the extrom folder before you flash this ROM and also edit the Config.txt file and delete the entry for TrueNeytral_Keyb.cab. Remember, this file is located where you extracted the ROM (not the PDA). If you already flashed and want to use this tip, you need to go back to WM5 (I always use RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe ) and then flash again with this procedure.

This way when you flash this ROM, you will end up having the normal SIP Keyboard and dialer. And finally once flashed, just change your Region on the Settings/Regional Settings and also change the timezone to your zone.

I also recommend you to delete the entry "TrueNeytral_Apps.cab" since it contains some apps in russian. (remember to delete the entry on the Config.txt too!).

Yes, you can add some of your favorite apps, just make sure you don't get over the size limit (which I don't remember).

I did a hard reset and I can now see the 2G SD card in the video settings but the limit is about 12mins of recording and it doesn't take up 2G of space, not sure how to set unlimited since the setting doesn't work.

Can I not just go to remove programs and uninstall the TN keyboard? because it seems to work.

Also my Dopod seems to hang with no response once it is switch off, can't switch the screen back on without doing a reset.

The voice command can say messages but can't dial a number like WM5 can, I think Cyber Voice is not installed in WM6.

I might try some other roms if the Dopod keeps locking up.

Also I did manage to get my i-Tech R35 bluetooth working on Music but the sound is not that great and fix for this?

Well you can unistall TN Keyboard if you like, but you'll have to do that every time you hard reset.

One more thing I found not working on this ROM version is my Plantronics Stereo Headset, they pair allright but they simply don't work. The sound seems to transfer since I can't no longer hear any sounds on the PDA nor the headset.

Guys, is there any way to manually shut down programs, or will they be on all the time once you activate them after a reset? The ROM didn't come with X-Button, which is what I've been using on the other ROM's to shut the programs down.

Is there any impact on battery life on having programs in the background, or is that normal procedure?

i'm using yahoo go! After ugrading to WM6 i cant view my mail:( It only showed blank white screen. Everything synchronising perfectly except for the blank screen. Anyone have the same problem? Maybe it's not compatible with wm6..

But what's the difference btween these 2 messengers?
I mean maybe changing the registry will help..

It works well with this ROM.

Also good is ALTTAB.EXE which brilliantly emulates the Alt-Tab functionality of Windows. Install a shortcut to the app and you can allocate it to a hardware key. Then one keypress opens a nice alt-tab-like popup window, continued pressing cylces through open apps. If you stop pressing, then the one currently selected is brought to the foreground. One of the coolest apps around - and free! I used it to swap quickly between 2 active apps..

I think both apps compliment each other well, and work perfectly with this rom.

I come back after long pause in my work with any ROM's. Now i planned to make TN1.6WWE_clean, based on 17944 build(from k0ster_v3). 60% of work already completed. Post here any wishes and offers which are necessary for realizing in a new ROM.
In ROM by k0ster not working vibrocall. I think, it can be that there are no following records in the registry:

But it may be not all missed records. Searching...

1)Don't work Wireless Lan tools. Popup message: An unsupported operation was attempted. The reason - wrong mui file.

Попробовал установил - работает неплохо. Да и выглядит отлично. Несмотря на нерусскость, удалось русифицировать smartdialing и сам touch'евский phonepad. То есть, за счет подмены ресурсов можно его попытаться русифицировать полностью.

Хочу этим делом заняться (хотя полный ноль в программировании) по данному руководству: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311078, на основе прошивки Gullum'a для Профета и официальной русской прошивки для Тача.

В связи с этим вопрос к хозяину данного топика, как спецу по русским прошивкам - насколько это реально и получится ли сделать русификацию НТС-шной надстройки над WM6 (куб, медиаплеер и т.д.)?
Или вообще не заморачиваться.

I m a begginer to this field. I flashed my Prophet first time today n installed your ROM, WITHOUT KNOWING IT WAS IN RUSSIAN. Then a tried to install SMART ROM on it without flashing as i didnt know i had to. My phone is now showing me the ORANGE STARTUP SCREEN with

it doesnt go beyond this point.

Can you enter bootloader? (Press and hold the Comm Manager button and soft reset).

If you can, you should be able to recover your device.

the 3 colour is Bootloader mode.

Just connect to PC.
