Didn't know which forum to best place this but since many of the WM6 roms have the sms backup program from Jeyo installed, which I find very limited, I thought this the best forum to inform on PIM Backup. View the details about this program at

It does all the PIM including the Message accounts (MMS, SMS, Hotmail, Xpressmail) and call log. It can also do unattended scheduled backups. I tested this on a Wizard WM5 device and it was flawless. The backup file created is a zip file with the information stored in files that can also be viewed with notepad.

PIM Backup is included in XPlore 1.1 and its currently in the Faria Clean that I'm doing a beta on (I assume it will stay in the release version). And yes, PIM Backup is very nice. I just wish they would also backup your Owner Information :p

Not to go off topic, but... DUH! Sheesh, after typing and posting that it struck me the Owner Info is in the registry. Sure enough, [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Owner]. I just did an export of this key and stored it on my SD in my setup folder... I should be good to go now for Owner info... Sheesh... ;)
