Where did the error come from? This rom is for HTC' device only!!! When you have a Dopod or other device, you could not flash this rom on it.

I have flashed it on my P4350 perfectly!:D

German rom or WWE-rom is not the issue when the rom is for HTC! There is no need to pay any cent when upgrading your device with a new HTC rom. :) Have you ever flashed any device? Please recheck your PC, is there NET CF2.0 installed?

German devices are also locked and you get "INVALID Vendor ID" when trying to flash any different rom.

For my P4350 from Germany, only the equivalent rom works - Unfortunately there is none by now.


What has NETCF to do with that process ? Maybe i am wrong but you can also flash a new rom out of the bootloader promt, and then no software on the device can make a difference.

Extracly I have Framework 2.0 ( not Compact Framework - only for smart devices), and could not up ROM HTC WWE. May be only up German ROM?

Based on my experience with my HTC P4350, at the begining it had a German rom then I flashed the version 1.18... (I dont remember the exact number). That's it! Now it has the newest version 5.4.405 and runs perfectly!

I do think it should be something wrong with your rom upgrading process.

My PDA is HTC p4350 ( but with keyboad azerty). I have try one time and it's does not work. Now i can't enter bootloader T___T. Any body can help me. Thanks avanced.

Sorry, i'm so bad in english. But when i run the file for upgrade, it does not run, and after, i can't enter bootloader.

Spanish would be better - french is too long a go. Sorry.

Bootloader = camerabutton + commanager butto --> hold - tap reset button --> and hold camera and comm as long as bootscreen comes. DO NOT loose cammera+comm!!!!

Then when gree, red, blue = bootloader.

YOu have to change some registry settings. the english keyboard is 0409, the german 0407 for example. Don´t know exactly where all the local values are listed.

Try to use the search for keyboardlayout or keyboardchange.

It might be in another subforum - because it is equal to many devices.

Creo que entiendes el español. Si pulso el boton de camara + commanager(el de arriba del marcado rapido), y mantengo el reset, deberia arrancar el bootloader, pero en mi PDA, si hago esto, no hace nada. Solo aparece el bootloader si mantengo la camara y enciendo.

For me it is working this way. Sorry cannot test - because my Herald is away for sevice.

Pero no es egual - si tu puedes entrar el bootloader con su combinacion = todo es bien? O no es possible entrar el bootloader?
