So people,
Is there allready a solution for the library problem ? :)
Cause every single time! I exit media player i need to
- Delete MSMETADATA
- Update the library
Then I can play my songs, after exit and reopen and yeah all gone.
Is there a good freeware program i can use instead of this crappy ms player?
btw; i have a 2gb storage card and never have problems with the windows explorer.

Yep..I know all about it..
for as far as I know there is no direct solution, there is a thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=294324&highlight=Media+Player+Library), where you can edit your register for disappearing SD-Cards..but thats doesnt fix the problem for WMP..

Dont update your library, and all is fine, you can maually create playlists, or just play mp3's right from explorer, or select open file, and go through the whole dirctory....sounds like ppl are overcomplicating this.

yeah... pain isn't it. what I do is backup the MSMETADATA-folder. Then, when my playlist disappears i delete the old one and copy the backup back (you have to delete the old one, you can't just overwrite it!).
It's also a nuisance, but it doesn't take as long as updating the library again.

If you back up your msmetadata folder to the same place every time, maybe you could set up a couple of macros with VJKeyPress - one for "delete msmetadata" then once that's finished one for "replace with backup"... If you have to do it often I'd certainly make a macro for it.
