hi there,
Im actually wanting to edit .php files on my tytn, without having to change the file extension to .txt all the time. Is this possible at all?

I'm looking for the same thing! but i could only find VB editing software for the PPC :(

you looking for "open with" - try Resco Explorer 2005....lets you change file associations.

that looks like it would do the job, but its more expensive than the other piece of software i linked and wouldnt do syntax highlighting.
I am really wanting a way to change file associations, so i can open a .php with the word.

Hmm it doesn't seem to be build for PHP, elseif isnt highlighting etc :(

I use the edit function in total commander to edit HTML files without changing the extension to .txt then back to .htm
It appears willing to open any file type into a text editing window and will save it without complaining. The only limitation is a maximum file size of 64k.
