I just bought a HTC S100 BT Stereo Headset. It works OK, but only with joint stereo active. If I set the UseJointStereo to 0 (Registry Settings) the sound is just awful!

And yes, I tried alls the different settings for better audio quality - that does not make a change at all.

Is this problem known? Any remedy?

Problem known and due to the poor M$ stack...
Only solution for decent BT stereo is the Widcomm stack (see the wiki)
It is painful to use (need to reset to avoid out of memory message), but the sound is great and it works along the M$ BT stack (not at the same time so...)

there are a few bt headsets that work well. my nokia hs_12w works well, but it was pricey. bulky too. my older no-name one had a terrible hiss, but this nokia doesn't.

I need help with this also.

I installed the A2DPfix and the skipping is now gone but the quality is still very poor. There seems to be a lot of static noise or something. I applied the HTC Tweak A2DP fix for quality but it didin't do anything and now I can't get rid of it.

Please help.

Do follow my articles - I've elaborated on this problem in several of them. See for example http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=1744&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

Wow. that is some extensive article. I tried reading through it but not sure what i'm looking for. The article doesn't talk about the Logitech Freepulse headphone. Can you be more specific?
