O2 ireland - mms, wap settings

where can i found out mms settings, and internet settings (wap) for htc P3600 for Ireland? i've tried HERE (http://www.o2online.ie/Utilities/settings/default.do?wcmArea=/wps/wcm/connect/O2/Home/Personal/Services/Messaging/Picture+messaging) but after 3 tries i did not recieve something on my pda...please, can someone help me? for o2 network, please...thx

I think these are the setting for O2 contract :


GPRS Internet service
Access point: internet
Access point: open.internet.gprs
Primary DNS: 62.40.32.33
Secondary DNS: 62.40.32.34


GPRS WAP service
Access point: wap.dol.ie
User name: gprs
Password: gprs

WAP proxy server
Proxy: 192.168.90.74


GPRS MMS service
Access Point: wap.dol.ie
User name: gprs
Password: gprs
IP address: 192.168.90.74
Mmsc Address: http://mmsc.mms.o2.ie:8002/
Port: 8799

The issue you are describing is not a knowing issue, please check the settings, this?is the settings for paying monthly.

MMS

Tap Start then Settings

Tap Connections, then Connections

Tap Advanced

Tap Select Networks

Tap the New... button under Programs that automatically connect to the internet should connect using

In the Enter a name for these settings field, enter?O2 MMS

Tap on the Modem tab and then tap the New. button

In the Enter a name for the connection field, enter?O2 MMS

In the Select a modem menu, select Cellular line (GPRS) or Cellular line (GPRS, 3G)

Tap Next

In the Access Point Name field, enter? wap.dol.ie and then tap next

In the Username field, enter?nothing

In the Password field, enter?nothing

Leave the Domain field empty.

Tap Finish

Tap the Proxy settings tab

Tick the This network connects to the internet box

Tick the This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet box

Tap the Advanced button

Tap on HTTP

In the Server field, enter 62.40.32.40

In the Port field, enter?8080

Tap OK twice

In the Programs that automatically connect to the internet should connect using menu, select My ISP.

Tap OK

Tap Start

Tap Messaging

Tap Menu, Tools and then Options

Tap MMS

Tap the Servers tab

Tap the New button

In the Server name field, enter?O2

In the Gateway field, enter 62.40.32.40

In the Port number field, enter?8080

In the Server Address field, enter HYPERLINK "http://mmsc.mms.o2.ie:8002/"http://mmsc.mms.o2.ie:8002

In the Connect Via menu, select?O2 MMS

Set the Sending size limitation to the maximum available. (this may incur extra charges with your network. Consult your network for charges for large MMS messages)

In the WAP Version menu, select 2.0

Tap OK Three times
