XDA Excalibur/Cosmo Backup Software???

Hi freinds
i cannot install any backup software i tried it with Sprite Backup and a other app
It doesnt work.. it says, that programm is not for this device and cannot be installed
I have that problem with severel apps
my OS:
Windows Mobile 5.0 mit Feature Pack
BS 5.1.342(Build 15097.3.0.1)

Please can u help me?

My problem is not installing the backup software. Its restoring the file that the backup software created. The Backup software creates an EXE file. When you install it after a hard reset, some applications do not work and no programs are left in the Remove Programs area.

So does anyone backup their Windows Mobile smartphone? It seems like there really are no options.

try the suggested method I'd posted in the above link ;)

that is really weird ... mine restored "EXACTLY" the point when I started the backup ... down to every tweaks ...etc


I went the "custom" method and also chose to included my SD card as well.

all keys changed in registry are exactly the same ... all programs works ... and within the "remove programs" area .. there is the whole list for me to uninstall ...etc

FYI ... I am using Sprite Backup version 5.2 for Smartphone.
