why always have to re-pair stereo headphones and dash?

I have bluetooth stereo headphones that I use with my Dash. My problem is that everytime I turn off the headphones and turn them back on, they forget they are paired with the Dash, and I have to repair them. is there something I can do to fix this? Does it have anything to do with the 0000 I always enter?

As soon as something is turned off, it's unpaired. There's no connection if it's off. Just like a bluetooth headset.

I don't know about the internals of them but I would think that the firmware on the headphones hasn't reset cause you turned them off and then back on.
