I got one myself, its a brilliant device, the only thing that I dont like so much is that the side where the keyboard slides out of is a little loose when the keyboard is closed. So if you tap with the stylus on the top right corner the upper section of the pda hits the lower one constantly. Do you have that too? Besides I am just worried that overclocking the device to a constant 247 might damage it but I need the speed ;)

I got my XDA terra yesterday with o2 WM6 ROM and it runs smooth. I had a XDA neo (htc Prophet) before and for me the Herald is the perfect successor of the Prophet. I just love the keyboard. It's very handy to be able to use all my programs from the Prophet over on Herald. Just copy all the files from my SD-Card to the microSD-Card. Just wish they had released a 4GB microsSD already.

@exxi
I dont have any with the keyboard being loose. Maybe you should exchange it to a new one (warranty).

OK:

- main speed is higher than wizard (aka Vario)
- keyboard springloaded and it turns on device by sliding out
- screen is more brilliant
- keyboard symbols are changed - but better
- ALL is turned - all buttons, keyboard direction --> have to learn
- wm6 - like all other wm6 better than 5
- Battery life is great (idle = 9-12mA by Batterystatus)
- Camera is much better but no falshlight
- no 2,5mm only miniusb for headset - so no chargigng and headset possible at one time (only with adapter)
- no stereo sound
- Voip is possible by installing WM6VoIP.cab (but sound out of speaker)
- VERY thinn!!!!!!!!!! more comfort in your pants pocket
- buttons are smaller - but less nonwilling pressing is disabled by this
-

Great at all.

I love it. It´s a newer wizard - not more not less.

Hi

I also got myself the xda terra. There are only two things that bother me (with the current O2 branding):

1) No remote desktop client?? It simply isn't there on my device... Or maybe I'm just totally blind...

2) No VoIP Client (@ papamopps where can I optain the mentioned "WM6VoIP.cab"?)

Cheers

Amen

My Herald was returned from warranty repair and they had installed a metal plate in between the screen and the keyboard to solve this problem.I had one of the first Heralds in circulation, I would have figured since they realized this problem they would have been correcting it in newly released versions. I would suggest that someone try contacting HTC and telling them about the "defect" so that they can repair it while it is still under internation warranty.
