I Am New Just Wanted To Say Hello

hi everyone new to the forum and a proud owner of the orange spv m700 in BLACK to make you all jealous lol only joking just want to say you all seem like a really helpfull bunch and great to come across people who are so willing to help each other out, so again i have a black orange spv m700 with 2gb mini sd memory card and tomtom 6 sat nav (which is a godsend:)
The rom version on my phone is 1.23.61.5 is this the latest one? not that i seem to need a newer rom version just wanted to no if it was lol
its a really great phone/pda and great for sat nav as i am a compter engineer and do lots of miles each week, i no this has probably been asked a million times but how do i enable the gps icon in the settings section thanks alot

well it hasnt peeled off yet, and my mate who is general manager of an orange shop by me has had one for a couple of months and his is fine to? but i will be gutted if it does start peeling off does the problem only effect the black ones?
