Hi guys,

I have been running WM6 for about a month, but a couple of days ago I found that I could no longer establish a GPRS connection. I get an error saying:

"There is a problem connecting to the GPRS service in your registered home network."

I have checked and double checked my connection settings and I get the same error for APN: internet and APN: wap.vodafone.co.uk

The paranoid part of me wonders if they are blocking certain upgraded versions of WM? I can't think what else it could be?

Review applications you have installed recently. I've had similar problem with T-Mobile UK once, I've called CS few times and I was almost ready to send my Vario II back for repair, when suddenly turned out that beta version of BatteryStatus (Today plugin) was blocking GPRS connections. After upgrading to new version connections problems just stopped happening. :)

I found an even weirder solution. I'd tried resetting the device with a stylus (usually fixes things), but that didn't help.
But then coincidentally I had just done an SpbBackup which resets the device at the end via software. When it came back it was working!
