Hello
I have a Seat Leon with preinstalled bluetooth in-car.

I used to have dutty v1 installed on my hermes and everything was great!

When I installed Black 2.5 then I was able to pair the phone with the car but after a minute the connection is dropped.

same problem happens with dutty v2 and the newest lvsw

you know what is wrong with the new version? newest bluetooth?

i was going to start o similar topic... but i've seen yours... the reason... happy with wm6 and the car kit :)
so.. i have o parrot 3400LS-GPS car kit... and when i conected the phone to it for the first time it showed the signal strength and battery state... with wm5 i had nothing.... and the coolest thing is that i have also carrier's name... at first it was eandomly shown... but i think i figured it out... if it is on 3g it does not display the carrier's name... but on gsm it does... BUT if i disable the longnameprefix in regedit it also shows the carrier on 3g.. but on this i still got to test....

anyway no BT drops...

working with an older version of LSVW (can't recall which one) and a 2006 Audi S4 -- pairs fine, shows signal strenght and other details not shown with WM 5.0, but drops and reconnects randomly. Very irritating. I don't use bluetooth anymore in my car -- a tremendous shame.

Hi, I don't know if this will solve your problem but here goes anyway. When I first got my phone (Orange SPV M3100), I could not connect to installed BT system in my Audi A4. I understand from what I have read that this is due to a slight difference in BT specification used by WM to that used by mobile phone manufactures. I had similar problems as you describe above - all fixed since I installed software from JetWare (use google to find). Hope this helps. :D

hrmm, I'll try that too but my question is that my phone used to work just fine, now with the latest rom the problems with bluetooth started, that's what I am pointing out.

Hi all.

I've a Seat Leon too, with bt integrated.

Since i upgraded to first WM6, i have no problems with hands free, but i must get the PDA on. If i put PDA off, BT starts to disconnects and reconnects, and finally BT goes off.

With all WM5 i've tested, the BT disconnects and reconnects every time with the PDA on.

Think there is an issue with the way the handsfree get info from the phone, cause normal phone works without this issue.

Regards.

Im also using Pro 2.5 and have noticed that my BT for my Handsfree car kit is playing up. I can connect and it works but when I leave the car and come back I need to shut down and then restart Bluetooth to reconnect. Bit of a pain atm.

Also having problems, Parrot Rhythm 'n Blue, it droppes during calls and reconnects after a minute (not always).
I already use Jetware, so I fear that doesn't do the trick. According to the reactions in this thread this really seems to be a problem...

It's the BT implementation in the phone (either HTC or Microsoft), other phones work fine. Anyho: for me the previous LVSW (03-26) works fine and since I don't need the other 'stuff', I'm using that release.
My $0.02

I'm currently using Black 2.5 w/an '07 Infiniti FX and have zero dropout issues. I love it actually, I got in my car this morning and it reconnected automatically when I got a phone call, no problem

Hi all, another SEAT Leon driver with bluetooth handsfree problems here

My Vodafone v1605 suffered the dropout problem when it was on the stock Vodafone ROM.

I used the WM Black 2.0 ROM for about a day before the 2.5 ROM came out and didn't suffer the problem.

Since going to Black 2.5 I have suffered the problem intermittently. When the phone is running on battery it frequently disconnects/reconnects. However it appears to be pretty stable when on charge in the Brodit powered mount. I would guess that the major difference is that when on charge the phone doesn't go into standby mode.

I am tempted to go back to 2.0 and test for a while longer, especially as my device code has been updated with 2.5 so TomTom is not currently activated :(

When suffering the problem in the SEAT the phone reconnects when a call is incoming. It just doesn't stay connected when not in a call, making it impossible to call out through hands-free. Oh, and interrupting the audio every time it disconnects/reconnects

use an old rom, or install jetware and enable bluetooth through jetware.

Hi,
Above all, thanks to mako111 to have indicated me this thread.
I also have Seat Leon with integrated blutooth and SPV M3100
On the other hand with regard to you, I am still with WM5.
I have the same problem of connection / disconnection permanently
I come to flasher my Rom, but it is the similar.
It made me that with my Rom 1.23 and after the flash, it continues with 2.11
Had you also this problem when you were with WM5?
If there is a solution with WM6, I shall upgrade again my Rom.
But what annoys me, it is that I believe that I can put hand my physical keyboard there azerty, but not my virtual keyboard?
Thank you for your help ;)
Excuse my English and my weak knowledge of pdaphone :(

Do you allows the PDA to switch off?

Try to stay ON all the time and say us the results...I've this issue only with WM5. Since i have put WM6 the phone connects and stay connected with my Seat Leon, but must get the PDA On all the time.

So i can't go back to WM5...but WM6 is really better...give you a try...

I am going to try by leaving it ON and I say to you if it is Ok
You confirm me that if I put Rom WM6, my virtual keyboard will be QUERTY and if we cannot change it?
On the other hand, I believed to understand in the posts various that the problem BT arranges with the release 2.0 but not with 2.5?

Good news for me with LVSW last version. From now i don't need to get the PDA on with my BT handsfree Seat Leon.

Yesterday put the new ROM from LVSW and test the BT, and works fine with the PDA off. Can make a call with the PDA off and receive a call. Now dosn't disconnect and reconnects. Seems like the new BT Package in this ROM works better with my car. So recommends you test this version. I tested the black 2.5 before and gives me the same disconnect/reconnect issue.

I've not tested Dutty version with BT handsfree car, but it's possible that works too (not sure).

Hi all,

I can give you also my experience here:

I have an integrated bluetooth on Citroen. With WM5 worked fine and with first releases of WM6 also worked fine: (black 1.2, dutty 1, etc) Now, with dutty 2 and black 2.5 it connects ok, keeps the connection, but I did not have any sound when I answer or dial a number. I think the bluetooth stack changed something on this releases. Also I have some more info on car display on this new WM6 releases (carrier name, battery status, etc) that I did not had on WM5 and first releases of WM6.

I've downgraded to WM5 and everything is working as supposed. will wait for further developments before upgrade to WM6 new releases.

I have gone back to Black 2.0 (having experienced the dropout issue with 2.5) and so far so good. I have tested with the device on battery and on charge, in standby and out of standby and have not suffered dropouts.

I did get one dropout but when I looked at com mgr bluetooth had been disabled (not sure if it had crashed or what). Will do some more testing and post the results.

Suffered dropouts today running on battery with phone in standby. Annoying these intermittent problems  . Mine definately seems to be more stable when the phone is on power/not in standby.

I just flashed to Black 2.5 yesterday, so I probably don't have enough time yet to fully test it, but the bluetooth has been stable in my '06 BMW. I also had a stable connection with the WM5 2.11 ROM, but I much prefer WM6 for obvious reasons.

So far, so good! I am very pleased. I hope I don't jinx myself. :)

jcespi2005 was right. If I leave my PDA ONE, not problem. I will do that while waiting to install WM6. Thank you very much.

Hi everybody,

I would appreciate advice from people on this forum and this thread in particular on the following issue.

I paired my TyTN (LVSW March 23, 2007) with my new car stereo JVC KD-ADV38 . (This car stereo support Handsfree and A2DP).

Everything works smooth (units automatically connect to each other, the battery level of the phone is displayed, the phone phonebook is accessible through the JVC unit) until I make or receive any call. I can successfully place the call or answer an incomming call using JVC unit. BUT After conversation, regardless who ends the call, my TyTN disconnects from the JVC unit. Then I have either manually reconnect the units using CONNECT sumbenu of JVC unit or
disable/enable Blluetooth on my TyTN. I already tried Jetware - no help.

So, do you guys have any suggestions what to do?

Thank you all in advance.
