It's CHT ROM, not WWE version, but may be useful for someone have U1000 CHT stuck at bootloader.

Some information:

Radio: 1.32.00.10
Ext ROM: 1.24.709.105

i have upgrade it already, only 2 things added, one is to fix the region time bug, another is to add a custom software call My Connect, (something like Vodafone Live where you can download ringtone, wallpaper......etc)

Please people, if you don't have a DOPOD U1000 Taiwan version, then don't update to this one, it won't work and will brick your device.

don't know the country code, but this update is not for you, what you need is the same update but for WWE, which country did you buy it from? you should be able to register on the DOPOD Official website and get the Update from the member section.

device information says athe100 box says (hong kong(wwe)

how could i know my dopod is 001 or 601 ?

and if i upgrade to the new CHT version and apply faisal`s upgrade could i get my connect in english as well ?

There's a simple method. You must set device in bootloader, by press RESET while press CAMERA button.

You can see the tri-color screen, show some info as:
ATHE100
IPL-v1.00
ATHE100
SPL-v1.07.0000
Then disable ActiveSync USB connection on your PC, connect U1000 with PC via USB cable. Now you can run MTTY, select USB0001 etc.. From mtty command prompt, type commands below, and you get the info you need.

Cmd>

Cmd>info 2
HTCSDOPOD601 «Jú½HTCE

Cmd>info 3
HTCSATHE10000

Cmd>ResetDevice



Note: if your mtty hangup after [info 3], don't panic, press reset to reboot U1000.

@ahmadfarid: If you install a CHT ROM Code to WWE U1000, upgrade processs stop at 1%, with Invalid vender ID error code, and your device reboot to Windows. I think it do not harm your device.

Actually i want to flash CHT to WWE ROM..i tried it before and stuck at the flash utility mode (bootloader)....

go register yourself to DOPOD HK, and you can download the file there
