Hello!

I was wondering if someone could please test a piece of software for me.

http://www.windsorinterfaces.com/datelens.shtml

It's a calendar-front end with an amazingly innovative interface.
It installs and runs on WM2005, BUT data entry is broken.

When you try to create a new appointment, the dates are all wrong (year is 1753!) If you try to change it to 2007, it changes it to 9998(!)

I have confirmed this fault on other WM5 handsets. The developer says it works fine for him and isn't sure what's causing the problem.

(my original post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=302522))

So if someone with W2003 is interested, please report on the following:

1) install the software
2) run the software and try to create a new appointment
3) Can you set the correct appointment date? or is it year 1753?

:) :) THANKYOU TO EVERYONE WHO GIVES THIS A TRY!!! :) :)

All the best,
Dax.

Hey Richard,

Yes, it's fantastic, isn't it?

Looks like the problem is WM5 related. I don't know how to fix it, but at least we know what it is.

Thankyou very much for testing it and I'm glad you like it! (And glad it runs on your system)

All the best,
Dax.

I have the same problem with DateLens - XDA miniS, OMAP850, Windows Mobile 5.0 OS 5.1.195 (Build 14847.2.0.0)

Sometimes I get the following error:

"DateLensApp.exe
Exception
Application::Run+0xf
DateLensForm::Main+0x27"

Maybe this will help.
I like DateLens very much, not to compare with other calender-programs.:(
