I have a O2 orbit UK flashed the dopod rom to it (os only) the extRom got messed in the process. The suprising part is if i keep my extRom unhidden than my Cpu speed is normal(about 1-10%) but when hidden it jumps to 40%.Also there seems to be massive power drain in the battery.Tried repairing using Pigeons method but no luck.ExtRom does not instal.Any suggestions anyone.

No it is not actually, thought it was a battery problem but it was alright before the extrom got messed up,what is your idea?Any feedback would be appreciated.

well i had 2 p3300 ( i got rushed and i sold my 1st one ) so now when i got the 2nd, i instantly unlocked it, and wore the powermap rom, and i thought it was draining power faster than my old one ( with the original rom on it ) but after like 10-15 charges, the battery started to perform really well.

I have had battery drain problems also. It happened after flashing a HTC to one of the coocked roms. I tried every thing. Nothing worked, even multiple recharges (which worked previously on my Prophet). I decided to hard reset. That resolved the problem. When I restored using Sprite back-up, the problem was back also. I hard resetted again and then all was OK again. I am currently reinstalling applications to find out which one causes this drain to happen. Have not found it yet.......
