How do I change "new text" notification?

I would like to personalise my "new text" notification sound on my Orbit. Where would I need to "drop" the file into so that it appears in the sounds and notification menu????

Is it also possible to personalise the alarm sound?

Convert the sound you want to a wav file and put it in your windows directory. After doing this you will find the it in the drop down menu.

you can covert most files (ie Mp3) to wav using free on-line utilities
