I havetried to play games on my phone that use the hardware buttons and found the experience to be somewhat frustrating.
It seems that the hardware buttons are restricted in their responsiveness. By this I mean that two keys cannot be pressed at once. Also, if a second key is pressed too soon after the first key is released, the the phone thinks the first key is still pressed.
This makes playing games like pinball hopeless.
Is this a hardware limitation of the phone, or could a software 'tweak' help?
Cheers

A software option to improve things was looked at a long time ago but the hardware does not support what you are looking for on the built in keys.

Cheers fellas. Such a shame really as a large number of pda games will be unplayable because of this.

Now this might be a little different as I have a Hermes 100 (8525) in the US but I can get two button presses using my keyboard instead of the d-pad.
It took a minute to figure out, as morphgear does not support landscape mode, but I open it halfway up so that the magnet is not tripped to rotate the screen. But if you do this remember that UDLR are still oriented to the portrait mode, even though you changed the screen orientation to west to view in landscape....This was like a rubics cube for me, it took me over an hour to figure out what was going on.
So left becomes up, right becomes down, down becomes left, and up becomes right... weird huh?
But I do play all sorts of NES and SNES, Sega, GG, GameBoy, etc. on morphgear and can run holding down right and fire a gun at the same time with another keyboard button...
Of course I've got an Herm100 (8525).....
