Just sharing this for those who are struggling to get best use out of the hardware buttons on the Charmer, especially WM6. This is my experience / use of it and your needs may well be different.

The standard ROM provides "Start Menu" and "OK" on the bottom buttons. People are struggling to change these on the new ROM. Happily for me, this is what I always used them for anyway. The downside for some people is that they miss the ability to actually close apps with a button press rather than just minimizing. I also use the Record button for Voice Command as well.

I have installed AE button plus and have used it to add some more functionality. This means I can use one click on the camera button to rotate the screen and two clicks to actually start the camera. I am also using the Red and Green phone buttons to activate the softkeys (as they are a bit fiddly without a stylus in hand). The double click for the Green button is set to start the phone, and the double click for the Red button is set to close the active app (instead of minimizing). This means the green button still lets me accept cals and start the phone app, the red button still hangs up calls but I get the added benefit of easier access to the softkeys.

Hope this helps someone to enjoy the new rom a bit more.

just spotted a bug (i think so)...
at night 11 pm my battery was 100% loaded, i set to standby.

at morning it was completly off, 0 % battery. after charging it works again, but i'm asking me how that could happen...

IE doesnt find any web page and no matter how I configure my GPRS, it refuses to connect. I am on T-Mobile UK. Im sure this isn't a bug and is just an ID10T error, but what are the correct settings?

I have my nephews MDA which I updated to the latest official ROM. I then upgraded to the 002.5 WM6 as per "Another Flash Method". So far so good.

Except, I was hoping to have more of the "Vista" look on the today screen (icons running along the top etc); is that possible?

I noticed on page 2 of this thread an image of a MDA with some kinds of launcher with icons, which app is that?

I can't seem to find Cingular settings for using the WWW/WAP/GPRS. Can someone point me to more recent instructions.

Btw, you guys have done a bang-up job with this. It is definately much better than WM5, imho. Looking forward to more updates to it. And thanks in advance.

yes, you are doing something wrong. probably you didn't install any 3rd party software that brings you icons on today screen :-)

wm6 itself has nothing more than provided in rom, so do not expect icons on today screen, do not expect aditional ringtones, wallpapers, themes...just clean rom from ourselves. if you want something aditional, just do it yourself

Amazing piece of software. My phone feels incomplete without it. Coupled with SPB phone suite and SPB diary.... you have a rockin' device. Some might think I'm a SPB advertiser or somethin' but the products they have... they deserve some word of mouth advertising :)

BTW, sorry for out stagnation, but vlodeck is realy busy right now and i'm testing completely new source for rom, much faster :-) it has lot of problems, but if we resolve them, it will be the fastest rom ever...

Hi, nocturne, and Martie, it's a pretty good work for sure. My guess is to add the guide to the existing Charmer wiki page and insert just the link to the first page of this thread. the real problem is that those icons are from branded devices...and, as mentioned by vlodeck, some of them (if not all) are taken from smartphones, not pocket pc devices...default wm6 looks completely same as wm5 - only difference is that stupid and terrible glass efect. reasons for wm6 are simple - speed. wm6 performance is absolutely great - as you will see soon with our new version that is currently in developement stage (and running on my phone now) :D

this rom has taken the best of mUn vanilla rom, faria, xbeta and core2n...some performance tweaks from the community, various tweaks and improvements(maybe) discovered by ourselves. somebodz calls it evolution :-)

but be carefull with it! it is still deep in development stage, for example, nobody took care of working links for buttons - and many, many other bugs. think about it as some sort of "technology preview"...

ehh, 002.7 has never been released out, it was just experimental and does not exist anymore.
So if you mean 004.2 - there must be something wrong with your charmer, because you are the only one who reports unstability and low speed. not working activesync points also to your problem...(how the hell you think we are working without sync :-))

1) be sure you have charmer, not any similar device like MDAC1 or Prophet
2) flash the newest radio
3) reflash wm6 to be sure the filesystem is not broken
4) hr
5) try if everything works BEFORE you install any 3rd party application

The most common problem of ppc and computers generaly is, that users have their machines filled with junk - freeware is good, but must be tested twice before yo ustart to use it. Also using two different programs with similar purpose may lead to system conflicts...

no problems with spb mobile shell on my device...hope your problem will be fixed soon...

maybe the realy first one was a little faster, but it's almost no diffrence ( i tried them in a short time, 10 minutes between them :-) this one should be more stable and also compatibility will be better

1) do you mean phone app? or phone pad as input method? phone pad as input method is not implemented
2) transcriber - i was not testing this, but if i tis the same as wm5, you may enable it with cab, it is in system, but not activated by default
3+4) new in office mobile 2007, might be slower but will keep them - desktop office 2007 is great ant hey also cooperates well
5) this way of using camera is little bit strange, it depends on how it Pictures and videos handling camera API - imho we cannot do anything with it
6) was it working anytime? i was trying it, but it has recognized nonsenses everytime...

Hi there, just updated to 004.2 from 002.1, and the changes in this ROM are great with the addition of OneNote, Windows Update amongst other things, however I'm missing the MMS option in messages and a few applications that were included in previous ROMs e.g the HTC Task Manager X button and the Wireless Today screen line (showing Network name and bluetooth info).

Activesync offcorse works, but it don´t coppy the the contacts from outlook.

:confused: must be something wrong - i have found that WMDC does not want to comunicate with outlook2007 unless i have set up email account (does not matter that this account settings is filled with nonsenses). until this set up, wmdc did not detect outlook as installed. but i afraid that you problem is different

also strange - i have never had more stabile and faster system than 004.2 is - that's why i decided to pre-release it even if some functions are not yet finished.

I have added this to help people compare the different roms now available.

First, thanks for all the hard work in making this possible in the first place!!

Positives of new 4.2 rom: new Office formats (zip xmls) are supported, OneNote is included, more up to date

Negatives of new 4.2 rom: no phonepad, no transcriber, no soft key app, no HTC close app, cabs are deleted after installing (I know this is easy to fix myself), camera launched from Pictures app is upside-down.

I have attached a speed comparison I performed with each of the roms today.

It shows that (on my device at least), WM5 is actually faster at handling Office documents and that soft reset is fastest on WM6 2.5 rom. General app-switching and usability is way faster with WM6 despite the apparent slower access to files in Office apps.

I hope this helps someone.

Hi All, I am a bit of a newbie when it come to messing with ROM's i have sucsesfully flashed the WM6 ROM to my Charmer (Using option 2) but i am having problems with the T-Mobile extended ROM... where is it? How can i install parts from it back onto the phone? or can i even install the lot? i want to get MMS working again...

what i realy love on wm6, that's absolutely nonproblematic activesync via bluetooth. my whole flat is covered with bluetooth instead of common wifi. lying in the bed and riding irc for free :-)

Some other members reported these reflections using on a Prophet:
Much improved signal strength in deep interior areas, but a slight more power consumption of battery in case of signal lost/searching.
GPRS, SMS, Bluetooth and IR all works perfect.
Sound quality OK, no call drops.

I have found another 'Bug' in the ROM... The Camera works fine when started from the icon in 'programs' but when you start the camera form mobile outlook when inserting a picture into an e-mail the camera is flipped...

When using tomtom i've noticed that after a couple of minutes the screen goes white. I have to tap the screen to bring it back.

I've also noticed that when left on the desk the screen goes blank after a couple of minutes even though it is set to stay on.

(ROM 2.5)

Ok, maybe fixed this. I had set a "power saving" option within NeoTab. Even though I wasn't runnning NeoTab I guess it had set a value in the registry. Ran NeoTab, unselected the power saving option and rebooted. All seems ok, for now.

I tried the 4.2 Rom from vlodeck. And there are a few issues I found out. First of all I'm using Vista and I wasn't able to sync anything neither per exchange nor per local Computer. I used the alternate flash method. After upgrading my text messages were still there so maybe the upgrade was not complete but I'm not so deep into that.
Another thing is that wasn't able to sign in Windows Live services although I was connected via GPRS.
Except that I love the rom but the sync problem is the showstopper for me.

i'm running only on vista and its native wmdc - no problems. time after time, i'm using xp with async 4.5 - also no problems...

btw, wmdc has one issue - but it is not a problem of rom (in fact, maybe it's not problem of wmdc itself): if you are running outlook 2007, you will not be able to sync until you have not set up email account. don't understand what were developers thinking about...

about that windows live - could anybody finally tell me what the hell is it for? only thing i see is that it realy cannot detect internet connection - even if running inet through wmdc conection. will work on it - you have to provide info what is it good for :-)

Windows Live is for accessing you're hotmail account, msn space, and so on. I also wasn't able to sign in into the live messenger.

Update: After flashing again to Wm6 it syncs like a champ.

If somebody's missing the menu sounds for WM6 v4.2 just download this cab and install on your device. After that wait 20 sec and turn off your Charmer.

Hi everyone.

The WM6 ROMs still seem to have the same two to three ring delay as was the case with WM5. This problem in WM5 was removed by Tuatara in this post:

I'm not so much bothered by the volume as i've modified the casing and volume is VERY loud, but still it seems there is a two ring delay before the phone actually starts ringing.

Does anyone know if the same ring delay patch by Tuatara can be applied to WM6? If not does anyone have any suggestions/comments as to if they have noticed this delay and if anything can be done about it?

HELP PLEASE!

I just tried flashing the latest ROM. I had version 2.5.

I originally tried option 1 but could not find "one note" so thought it could not have worked, as has been reported a few times.

I flashed with the second method and everything seemed to go ok but after the hard reset my phone just stays on the white t-mobile screen.

What should I do, i've tried another hard reset but still the same problem!!!

i was up far too late last night getting mms to work and various other bits and bobs.

Has anyone got a2dp working on this latest rom? i've tried the previous wm5 tweaks and all files/registry seem to be there but i still don't get the option to "set as wireless headset" when i press and hold on the headset.

The SAP manager... well... I don't know what it's about. It says something about remote access to my SIM card. Never used this.

I certainly don't use either of those manager applications.

I actually found a copy of mms composer at about 1am this morning. although it's an older version than the one in the 2.5 rom.

Hi all. I have a doubt and I'm not sure this is the right thread to post this or not, but couldn't figure out where to post, so....

As far as I know, Charmer has EDGE connectivity. I'm in UK and have web'n'walk package which should give me EDGE connectivity. But the icon on top of the screen always says G and not E.

I've checked the associated registry entry which is something like 'EnableDifferGprsEdgeIcon' and the value is 1 which should enable the icon on top of the screen for EDGE if it is detected / available.

So my question here is: How do I know i'm connected on EDGE as I feel the connection is quite slow. But I also suspect, that the browser could take long loading things coz processor is slow.....

Is it possible that the EDGE icon is missing? Anything to do with WM6?

Anyone can shed any light??? I'm just puzzled as too many things possible.

I'm sorry to say that T-Mobile uk do not use Edge. They chose to concentrate on 3g coverage.

You should modify this registry value to 1 instead of 0 to see connection type disparately.

HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL\EnableDifferGprsEdgeIcon = 1

Furthermore you can set the connection time to be viewable and disconnect button as well just change this line to 16.

well, i have no need to run java apps on wm device and i didn't know that this is easily possible. There will be nice to tell others about usefull java apps you use in separate thread - i'm realy interested about it :-)
last time i used java on siemens s55 4yrs ago, so quality of apps has probably changed :-)

I´m studying in Germany an i use two right usefull JAVA applications. The first one is train schedule and the second one railway guide of the Jena City. These apps are not as WM apps available , so i would really miss the Midlett Manager.

At the Weekend i tried WiFi connection with a SDIO Wlan card (i-tec) under ROM 2.5 at it works very fine. The SDIO drivers for wm2003 works under WM5 and WM6 too .

As far as I know, there is no other way to launch Java application but with the Midlet Manager.

I dont know about you guys, but I tried a few java apps and it worked ok on that.

Hello again. Today i was trying to flash a WM6 2.5 ROM back on my Charmer , because the SDIO doesen't run good under the original ROM.
It was the 5.-6. time I flashed the 2.5 ROM with the second method.
Everything run perfect , but after the HR came fisrt the T-mobile splash screen :
IPL 2.06 SPL 2.06.000 GSM 02.19.21 ... and so on ... then came the BEEP which indicates the display calibration but the screen keeps WHITE. :eek: I can TAP on th screen how i like , but nothing happend. :(
This is the fisrt time that happend something like that. I flashed the 2.5 ROM minimal 5.time OK , before that happend. I upgraded from last original t-mobile CZ ROM .
What can i do now :confused: :confused:

I had similar (not quite the same) trouble the other night.

1. Don't panic
2. Enter the boot loader mode, (Press and hold camera, press reset button for a couple of seconds, release reset button, wait for three colour screen, release camera button)
3. With the phone attached to the pc via usb, run an official T-mobile ROM update.
4. Try the WM6 2.5 rom again.
5. Have a cup of tea.

What about to write this simple troubleshooting as pjam desribed to the first topic or to the XDA Wiki ? Maybe with the SD-boot solution too.
I try to write a short instructions in Ger-Eng-Cz - like what to do when the flash unsuscesfull was.

Interresting thing : the SDIO Wlan card (i-tec) wokrs much better under WM6 (ROM 2.5) as under the original t-mobile ROM. By the old one the card wont wake up as i entered the stand-by and waked up my Charmer again. By the WM6 i just need to pull the card out , put it in again and start browser or somethnig like that.
The Wi-Fi option under Settings-connection works well , the Wireless LAN and Wireless Manager dont support the SDIO as it seems.
Please dont remove any WIFi support in the comming WM6 ROMs !!!

In the last ROM's today screen , there was a line from where you had the possibility to switch on or off the phone , and the bluetooth as well.
In this Rom's today screen , this line has been replaced by "internet Calling" .

I've found the way to re-enable the wireless today plugin :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Items]

Create a new key named "Wireless" (YOU MUST USE THE QUOTES)

Create string named: DLL
Value = netui.dll

Create DWORD named: Order
Value = 9

Create DWORD named: Enabled
Value = 1

Create DWORD named: Type
Value = 4

You should'nt need to reset your device. You can enable\disable the plugin by tapping Start, Settings, Today, Items Tab and selecting the plugin.

in fact, i don't find this usefull.
1) you should know what operator ru using :-)
2) turning of radio is still possible taping singhal strenght icon (from windows mobile 2002 i think)

This plugin is consuming precious space, but is relatively useless. I will remove this one and also internet calling module to save space - they will be provided as standalone modules for people who wants them. saved space will be usefull for possible rom cookers.

regarding that memory - vlodeck alredy told you about increased system cache. and also do not forgot that some apps were added - transcriber about 1mb, mms support about 8mb, voicedial 300kb - those are system integrated apps that are starting their modules partly directly during startup...

I will test the new ROM as soon as my Charmer will be charged. The SDIO Wlan is much better supported under WM6 , i'm pretty happy that i can use the WM6 and WiFi at the same time. I surfed all the day at the University :)
I'm quite happy about the return of voicedialing. Will it be possible - in future or so on - to remove the MMS support from the ROM ?
I don't want that you remove it - there was a lot of people asking for it - but porsonal i never send a single MMS in my life and never recived one :p
7 mb ist pretty lot of space for me - because of using the SDIO Wlan card i have to copy all of the internet stuff (Opera , Skype , WiFifofum ... ) in the memory .

couple of thoughts on the 004.4 version:

- great work
- wow, it's fast
- I have to agree with madkoe, the CommManager today plugin was quite handy
- the GPS settings icon isn't activated by default (in Settings>Connections)
- Internet Explorer doesn't have a Home Page. When I start it up: "The address is not valid. Check the address and try again." And although the default_0409.html is in the \Windows folder it's not possible to change the Home Page in Internet Explorer.
- the "USB charging through the Cradle while ActiveSyncing via Bluetooth blablabla" story seems to have come to a happy end.
- I miss the X-Button app, I know there's plenty of 3rd party apps doing the same but I think that's such a basic thing, it should be in ROM

xbutton is 3rd party app. it will not be included.
however, closing apps is slower than switching them. i do not undestand those people that are strictly turning apps off. it is technical nonsense - each app has its own space in memory. turning apps off has its purpose ONLY if mem is full, do not search for desktop windows similarities - more free ram will never speed up your ppc. Windows mobile IS NOT DESKTOP WINDOWS, RAM management is completely different...not paranoicaly closing everything will speed up app switching mroe than 1gb of free ram :-)

Excuse me! I know perfectly well how to use my device! And seeing what carrier I'm on when I'm abroad is quite a useful thing, because not all carriers have the same deal with my home network. Besides it was quite a handy shortcut to the CommManager. I guess I'll have to map it to a Button now.

just installed 4.4 with no probs using 2nd method after downgrading to wm5 first.

Seems great, very smooth. Well done.

Unfortunately stereo bluetooth (a2dp) is still not working on this rom. Like I posted previously, the 2.5 version worked without any tweaks but even after applying the usual well documented a2dp tweaks that usually get it working, it still will not show an option to "set as wireless stereo". Strangely when the headset is paired the wireless stereo option is selected.

I would be soooooooooooo greatful if someone could investigate this further.

Try the second flash method. There is a good description (Word doc) in the RAR archive file.

So first 30 minutes with the NewRom
Wifi SDIO works great , No problems with Opera. But also not properly rekognized under conections-Wireless Lan - extra drivers are needed , i think that deepends on this SDIO Card (Low Cost Chinse Junk :) )
Remote desktop , internet sharing and others located in Programs - i found an Extra Folder for it in 2.5 ROM better but easy to fix.
I dont really miss the CommManager today plugin , but how can i use this Internet Calling option ? Does it work ?

Subjectivly is the Boot faster as in 2.5 , Menus react faster but on other hand some reactions are slower. But hard to say ...
Anyway great work

i think i have found a bug in camera-module...

when you use "unlock_extended_rom"...

and you extended rom is unlock...

than under: Camera --> Tools --> Options --> Register "Gernral" --> Save to:

you can only choose "Main Memory" or "Extended_ROM2" but not the "Storage_Card"

my tests:

I have it tested under wm5 aku2.0, without any tweaks … it functioned not.
a HTC Artemis (i think aku2.5_TMO_ger...???) have functioned
In “aku3.3_tmo_ger” and “wm6_vlono_2.5” it functioned very fine on Charmer… :)

have the same results, as you...

I have a car-radio (Pioneer) with blootooth that assume audio-streams...

PS:
It has also likewise one bluetooth free speech mechanism….
Each Nokia mobile phone found the radio… also a HTC Magician (MDA Compact I with wm2003) found…

..only wm5/6 phones not :(... shit happens :)

I use PiePlus to enhance the Pocket Internet Explorer. It has an option to easily switch between scrolling from link to link or scrolling a page at a time.

This does not work with the this, or the last rom. Not a big deal but its just something i noticed.

Runing on wm6 few days....now!It is very fast...everything is ok no craches for now....Only I can say that msn messinger when I tapp on he dont respond.....But thet is not issue....Few times for now...messages will not open from start menu....But I suspect that is beacuse I install BatteryStatus beta3.....When I remove that programm no problems any more.....

Looks that in the final hurry before releasing, i forgot to add t9 files for phonepad. Sorry people. If you need T9 for phonepad, use standalone phonepad cab provided in first post - will add corrected version to next version

I make all thet was wrote on t-mo..hu page and wont work. I did it again make new a modem connection, at advanced... private modem etc. and now it works.

Hi All!

I have upgraded my Charmer to WM6, thanks to you guys (version 2.004). I used "another method", as it seems this is the only upgrade method that actually works.
I have tested my new OS for a few days, and noticed some bugs:
1. The alarm even kicks on when I turn it off. Quite annoying, that there is no way I can have a longer sleep :)
2. After receiving an SMS, I always dismiss it. The notificition icon on the top of the display disappears allright, but after turning the LCD off then back on again, the icon is visible again. I could live with that.
3. The speaker of the phone is very loud whilst speaking, even if I turn the volume to zero. (Actually it does not change a bit)
4. I can not connect to the GPRS internet. This is a big problem for me.

I haven't been around for a couple of days, and I see that there are already stable releases with higher version number. Can I somewhere find a changelog to check whether these problems are solved?

no, we had no time to maintain changelog before - but we will continue witch changelogs from 004.4. but problems you are describing were not seen on old 002.4 - must be something wrong with your machine. first of all, try to upgrade to 004.4 - it's completely different from 002.4. Many problems will not be there. Second thing - upgrade your radio. i'm still running old 2.19.21 and i have no problems - but users are reporting that newer radios are working better. I do not recommend older radio than i have

Hi all. Had 004.4 installed on my Charmer for a week now, working nicely, quick and fairly stable.

Just a couple of questions.
active sync is syncing full copies of emails from outlook by default, the download size limit on PDA and PC is set to 0.5kb. Any other setting makes no difference. I still end up with a full copy.

Is there a registry hack to make the keyboard maximize, when the stylus taps an edit field?

I don't know what radio version I had, because today I have downgraded my Charmer to the newest official T-Com ROM (funny thing it does not charge via computer, even though the registry value is ok). Now it has version 2.69.21 Radio on it. I will try the 004.4 WM6. Maybe this solves my problems.
I will keep up with the topic. Way to go guys!! :)

thhis is just "finding way" ROM, not new release. some changes were made - a2dp willl maybe work, that was the goal. nothing other was changed in this version and it absolutely wasnt tested. so use it just in case you want to help to make a2dp working.

Tried it, unfortunately A2DP still isn't working for me after a hard reset. As with 4.4, Wireless Stereo is available in the services list when you pair but is not in the menu when you try to use it. If there's anything you want me to try to see if I can get it to work then please advise. One tip - I applied the 4.4 registry to the 2.5 rom and A2DP stopped working (normally it's fine on 2.5).

I've installed the WM6 rom.
I didn't need the battery fix in AKU 3.3
but, I cannot use internet via desktop pc on my phone.
Could you solve it?
In addition, it would be better if you made the hardware buttons to soft keys instead of start+ok.

internet through async is working with no problems and nothing special. see related threads about wm networking. it also automatically works through bluettoth async connection (or wmdc, if using vista). in my conditions, the easiest way to set this up is here: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=234650&view=findpost&p=764982

Found this on the excalibur wiki page:

Change Pocket IE Homepage
In WM6: HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/?AboutURLs/home_0409 Change the homepage to whatever you want.

Basically, the home_0409 string was missing. Simply add the string and put http://....... as the value.

Once this has been added you can change the home page using menu-tools-options within pie.

Works great.

What to do when the flashing wasn`t suscesfull.
Solution for the known button problem (was there any ?)
If and what Radio / Akku are necessary and where you cand find them
The fix for the IE homepage.
and so on.

ok, some info you all are waiting for:

it will be soon, maybe in a week or two.
at this moment, i may promise better stability, absolutely clean system, functional a2dp, more available ram, more storage, overall better performance. no dll's or registry settings remaining from apps that are not included...cleaness is the priority.

in the second stage, i will focus on security. 128bit encryption support for IE is almost ready.
i will also start to work on realy secure storage, something like Keepass is. Hope i will be able to make it based on certificates, so you will be able to make restore data if you use the right cert.
Why not to use keepass itself? I simply do not trust it. How can you trust software, that is cycling 10 (or a little bit more) passwords if you use its "random" password function...idea is great, but functionality is trustless.

Does anybody assume same kind of development study to Magician. We, magician users are suffering from WM2003 and we dont even have WM5, technically, any study and modification may enable Magicians to work with WM6?

as i know, magician does not have wm5 simply because it is not possible due to its architecture. the same with wm6, of course. imo the worst problem is its memory architecture...

the work you have done is awesome. I had a few problems and nearly bricked my phone because the cat pulled the cable out part way through the upgrade. But got it sorted in the end, and love it to bits. My Spectec SDIO wireless card even works now, get in.

My only problem is that it takes a few seconds to recognise that its plugged into the mains for charging, other than that its amazing.

Keep up the good work and thanks again from a very very satisfied customer

what's this for question? s110 simply IS NOT charmer. only mda compact2 is charmer, it was produced ONLY for t-mobile, not imate, not qtek, no other brandings than t-mobile mda compact2. something you do not understand?

Well i tell you my problem...i have a charmer and i have flashed it with the new uk t-mobile rom,this rom give me the problem that the battery didn't charge...so i have read some discussions and at the end after reading ALL the discussion about wm6 i have installed it on my charmer,the problems that i have now are the seguent :
1) the battery don't charge also after installing the patch for the battery
2) with my wind schede it function perfectly,but not with my tim
3) i have flashed the pda directly with the last version of developed roms 004.4.zip.html,with the 2nd method...it's possible that this can caused me some problem??

Ok,excuse me i'll search to explain better my words:-)
So,i have reinstalled the battery patch...but it does not charge with the usb cable and does not charge with the battery charger,too.
My question is : is it possible that the fact that the battery does not charge with the previous rom (t-mobile uk),does not permit to charge the battery with new wm6 rom???

My sim wind function perfectly,but my sim tim (telecom italia mobile),the first time functioned but after the first message send,it did not function anymore.

What do you think about???
For you...can i try to reflash with an older rom??(for example first german t-mobile,but i don't know how,because it gives me an error)...after i can try to reinstall wm6 rom..
or can you give me some suggestion??

I am having some problems using the second flash method. I am able to download the shelltool file and save 8004000-os.nb. But when i download the xbeta Chinese WM6 rom. It is an exe file that I cant extract or open to add the saved 8004000-os.nb to. when i click on it I get a lot of question marks. Please excuse my idiocy and accept my thanks for any help provided. Ive just double checked the FAQ and everything has been done up to where you extract the rom. Not sure why I cant expand the menu?

not too long ago, I burned my MDA 2c with the t-mobile AKU3.3 (the famous 85% stop)
But I have to admit, the posted xda-developer-fix was successive! But it does not work with my parrot blue tooth anymore. So I got a replacement by t-mobile.

Why do I’m looking for an update?

First off all,

the Rom is fantastic. It seams to be, that it iss faster than the orginal ROM from T-Mobile (WM5). But i miss some little thing. Is it possible to get international weatherinformation on the desktop (seen by XDA Aramis WM6). I have search for it, but i dont understand, from where i get it....
Maybe it iss in the Charmes ROM, but i dont see it. And the second question: How i can make the still like seen on the picture at the first side with energy, Ram, light and so on...) I try to find the button, but i dont see them.

I HAVE A MDA COMPACTII ''MADE IN TIWAN'' I WITCH WM5 I WANT TO UPGRADE IN TO WM6 SO I UPGRADE THIS WM6 TouchFLO Charmer WM6 ver. 2.1 FINAL by vlodeck AT THIS HOME PAGE http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...harmer+cert_sp... AFTER THIS I HARD RESET MY MDA C2 ITA ON BUT THE LANGUAGE IS NOT ENGLISH I CANNOT UNDERSTAND ....

SO I CAN REFLASH IT WITH THIS ROM Charmer_Touch_GER_Beta_2.7 .. AFTER FLASHING COMPLETE I SOFT RESET MY MOBILE.
SO MY MOBILE STUCK ON SPLASH SCREEEN ONLY T-MOBILE IS SHOW

I updated according and it worked but I am still missing the file hsdcard.dll. Does anybody know where it can be downloaded ?

There is an option in the WM5 i had with my charmer whenever i was charging it, it shows me whats percentage of the battery has been already charged, this wm6 doesnt show that i would really like that option again because i want to know how far it is when its charging...thanks alot this is some really helpful stuff...
