However - we are not all able to make donation my feeling is that anyone who is "able" to own a Trinity (me included and I only paid €59 for mine with a 2 year contract) is able to contribute. If it's a €2 donation - and there are 100 people that do so - well that's still €200! and for those that are able to give some more - great. but hey - lets face it -0 you have a Trinity - you have a mobile phone contract - you have an internet connection - don't tell me that you are not "able" to make a donation. I have just loaded the latest 2.01TE ROM, now my PPC keeps rebooting and doing the customization. So far it has been doing this for an hour!! Can't sync as it keeps doing this and can't reload the ROM as I can't connect to the PC. Any ideas on what I should do.

Try a hard reset. If that doesnt work, enter bootloader mode and reflash. Details here:

Tried all of the above. Have tried reflashing with original orange m700 ROM and just about any other ROM. Keep getting corrupt file error and failing at 1%. mUn's 2.01TE is still on there and it just keeps rebooting. Have no idea what to try next.

If you have an Orange phone and Hard-SPL is not loaded properly then the HTC rom won't work. You have to have the original rom from your service providor or manufacturer in the original language in order to flash the rom.

Have tried several times to no avail. Called Orange and they're replacing it in the morning.:p

Glas to hear that Orange are replacing the phone tomorrow. I suggest that you try the Hard-SPL. This will avoid you getting an error like the above when trying to flash a HTC ROM. Personally I've always been able to get my phone out of a sticky situation (in fact it only happened once) thanks to HARD-SPL ing my phone.

You're lucky that Orange are replacing the M700 without asking questions. Be aware that flashing another ROM could invalidate t he warranty and Orange's willingness to take it back and replace it.

Any ROM should work fine on your M700 - I think you just had bad luck.

If u reset radio module after GPRS session your battery will have longer life.
I turn off my trin with 100% before sleeping and turn it on with 100% after.

I don't actually know wht dialer skin should i include. New 3g skin (touch style) is very cool and has battery meter in progress mode and dialer (found that it's very usefull). But it doesn't allow to make video calls..
I don't use video calls, so that problem is not critical for me. But have to make other version of dialer (probably with less functionality) that supports video calls.

As for MMS: Probably I'll include 2 cabs in extrom. So everybody will chose wht version to setup (4.0 or 3_5_1_24C_R1)

Video call is not working. When i click the video call button, my trinity exits the video dialer and goes to today screen. After a moment the phone icon at the top will disappear and a "!" will appear as if there is no service, then it will return to normal again.

The dialer doesn't seem to function very smoothly too. It froze a couple times for me and generally pretty slow.

I dont mind losing video calls since I rarely use it, but the large dialer buttons are essentials now (dont mind a cab file to install it)

I agree mo7al, but as you say its easy to fix with the cab file thats flying around. It's better to have things work as they should in the base rom. Then mod it to your liking with cab files afterwards.

The latest and greatest ROM you will ever get is Indigo. Nothing else will compare. For instructions simply wait until tomorrow and download the RUU for mUn's new ROM Indigo and wait as patiently as you can for the ROM to flash to your P3600. Rest assured everything will work fine. Yes, that includes everything including GPS and Touch Flo which no other ROM on the P3600 device has. Enough said.

Most parts of Touhflo will not included due to stability issues, mun_rus has already explained this in previous posts, which is fine by me as Touchflo brings your Trinity to its knees in a lot of cases.

I, too have faith in mUn's abilities and ROMs Wolfyy7. However, let's not count chickens etc. Also, let's be accurate in what we say "The latest and greatest ROM you will ever get is Indigo" not the latest - as not released - the greatest - here's hoping but you don't know that. "...everything will work fine. Yes, that includes everything including GPS and Touch Flo..." hmm - even mUn's ROMs sometimes have small bugs - and it's not impossible that someone will take mUns work - and add their flourish that many will consider an improvement - so until you are sure - don't go telling people things that aren't necessarily true.

I'm hoping - as you are - that it will be the case!

But it may not be a bad thing, as during these days, mUn can further fine tune and improve his work, so we can all have a bug free ROM. I would rather have a near-perfect ROM instead of flashing the device every few days with subsequent bug fix.

Even if you're EDGE connection isn't stable, I think you can still try to upload it to a place where you can keep resuming the upload each time the connection drops.

Just install mortscript and the attached script.
That does all you need.
You can swith between voicecommand via the headset or audio via the headset...

Can someone get the Thursday shift? Mabey if we get mUn's rocks off enough times he will feel better about himself, which clearly isn't happening enough and he might think faster which could lead to producing a better Rom. His internet connection might magically become fast enough too, you never know...

1) If you use a ROM for awhile and depend on it, you should donate the man ... even if you can't donate a lot. I think 10€ for each person isn't that much to run WM6 instead of WM5.

2) It's his FREE time you know, someone else is watching porn ... but he works for us. Certainly, we should give him all the time he needs. Asking is ok, but don't come with deadlines etc.

3) Baking a ROM isn't that hard, but when we expect a bug "free" ROM it's another story. When he release his ROM too soon, this thread will be flooded with problems. Those problems aren't most of the time described well and double checked, so the released ROM will be classified as bad in no time.

Give him money, give him time and give him (when the ROM had been released) detailed problem reports.

mUn and other cooks do what they do because they love their devices and like cooking ROMs.

mUn is and has been one of the most active forum members for a long time as far as I can tell. He almost certainly has a life outside of xda-developers. The fact that he has not posted in the past week for me only goes to reinforce the claim that he has a problem with his internet connection. So yes, it probably is a problem in the 21st century. And maybe while he is willing to spend time uploading from home he is not prepared to travel to a local hotspot / internet cafe etc. to upload or let us know what he doing or when he will upload.

It is also possible, given the fact that he studies - that it is the summer holiday for him now - that he is on holiday (vacation) and Indigo is the last thing on his mind?

Alternatively - mUn-run does not care has a stable internet connection, and everyone who has responded to your posts in the way they did has a problem.

Everyone can draw their own conclusions.

I have no internet cafe in my town and my telephone station doesn't support ADSL. So there are only two ways to get internet connection - Dial Up and EDGE. Both ways are terrible for uploading.

I use skype over 3G and I tried it on 2.01 TE. When it wants to dial, the program quits/gets killed. mUm, did you try this on your p3600 on 2.01.TE or Indigo?

Ok, this is really weird because it seems no-one else is having this problem. I can't use button 1, the voice command button. When I press the button I get 'Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename'. It won't even let me reassign the button, it shows in the button menu, but won't let me allocate a shortcut!!

I'm running TE flawlessly on everything else and I love it, but since I can't assign the ok button to the context menu I used button 1 in WM5 instead. Anyone know a work around or having a similiar problem? Or if anyone knows how to assign the 'ok' button to the context menu I'd have your babies cos it's driving me crazy!

yo dude i had same problem all i did was download voice speed dial cab installed it the went int the button config start menu/settings/buttons
