Hey there fellow ameo/athena/advantage owners.
I have been quite impressed with this ameo on t-mobile since i got it a week ago.
My only prob is the internet connection sharing on the device.
I have tried to use it as a bt modem and usb modem on 3 different computers with only one being successful.
They all run xp home sp2 and i only have one bt dongle so they are all using the same one with the ms stack.
They will all show a successful connection but only one will view internet pages.
All of them have all other network adapters disabled so i just cant figure out what the deal is with ics.
Also I noticed that using Ics takes ages to be usable after a connection is made.
Is that normal?
I have setup the phone to be used with phonecontrol on the ms stack and that works flawlessly.

If anybody can help i would be grateful.

I have the same issue.

I get a good network connection on a vaio with XP SP2 and a toshiba series 4 BT stack.

With another Vaio which has a series 5 BT stack it appears to connect, but does not pick up a gateway and DNS address unless I set it up manually on the Bluetooth PAN network connection after establishing a connection with the Athena.

I actually receive a ip,dns and gateway on all three but only receive about 2 packets for every 20 sent.
Its as if the ameo isnt returning packets
