The solution is to extract the rtcdll.dll from :

Or install directly the CAB (but if you install directy this cab there is a bug on today screen : example : free:searching......

If you install only the rtcdll.dll no bug on today screeen : free: selected

When you make this modification Your client SIP are Good.

Can you include this dll on your next rom ?

Excel : In your rom no problem whe i open a excel document is open at the first time !!!


VideoCall On you rom Is OK with Your HTC tweak soft very nice !!!


MMS on you rom is OK !!!

Hi lvsw, tried to flash my buddy with your release but the update stop at about 45% and guide me to the recovery steps

after that, when the update restarted stopped again an display now every one I try to restart by manual bootloader this error:

ERROR [270] : UPDATE ERROR
The image file is corrupted. Please check your update utility.

What can I do?

Any help is really welcome.


Edit: solved by flashing an official rom, now retry and report in the forum

HardSPL is not mandatory as the roms are published with CustomRUU which pusshes SSPL, but it's always a good idea to flash it to be safe in case of a bad flash, you can find it here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299659).

For those who are stuck in bootloader mode, and don't have HardSPL:
- If your device is not SuperCID, flash original rom matching your CID.
- If your device is SuperCID flash any Shipped ROM (not cooked).

If you have HardSPL, just flash again to recover.

Anyway, I have one wierd issue. Not really a problem.

I now have a second Storage Card folder called FILTERFS in the file system. It seems to be one level above the storage card folder, since if I open it I then get to a storage card shortcut (longcut). Anyone have the same issue? As I said its not a problem though I would like to get rid of it and clean up my file system a little.

Agree quite stable. i dont have storage card problem.. but i have other to report.

Fixed!! I had to do the undocumented hardreset of my bt320s then stereo showed up...

When handsfree to phone, the bt320s cuts out as ix666v2 describes.
I tried a hard reset of Trinity in case there was a conflict with other software. This didn't help. I then found an undocumented way to reset the bt320s and that fixed it. It is now working well for all functions. :) :) :) To reset the bt320s:
a. Turn off the bt320s.
b. Connect and disconnect the bt320s to its charger 3 times leaving it on the charger for 3-5 seconds each time.
c. Delete the bt320s partnership on the PDA
d. Pair the bt320s to the PDA again.

well, i flashed this cause MUN's rom wasn't syncing for me.. looks good so far, but i've got a weird thing going on with my text messages.

it's supposed to sort by when they were received, but new messages are coming in 2nd or third in the list. I can't quite figure out why. Anyone have some thoughts on this? I also have 1 message saved on my sim, that's quite old but it's number one on the list... strange.

It has smart dial as standard. Or do you want that windowed version from WM5? I think if you goto settings and tweakUI? There is a setting for video dial, which changes the shape of the dialpad to make it look more like wm5 version. I think.

Racer, have you installed a seperate Camera cab? I can't even switch to my front camera with the stock Camera software on this ROM. Obviously being taken from Hermes there are some things that dont make sense, such as an option for flash on/off.

First time i launch camera app, there is no icon for switching to the front cam ; then i install Gps camera.cab, the icon is here but application hang when i try to switch to front cam, need a softreset.

Regarding the SIP problem, how are you supposed to replace the rtcdll ? I can't replace it from the phone and neither from windows by accessing the phone and i don't want to install the cab because that would introduce the "searching bug"

About SIP , i made my configuration without problem, replacing the dll you told, and making a cab with my parameter.

One reboot later, my Sip network is detected, and available. I can connect it, but its not shown in comm manager. the button "ip phone" stay unchecked...
I can see the sip network name in the dial pad but when i try to call :

"Cannot complete the call. The signal may be unavailable or the phone numer may not be valid. Verify the number or try again."

The number is an international one, and it works with SIP software on my laptop.
The wifi connection is good, i can surf over the internet without 3g...

got some ideas ?

Try to enforce your asterisk with alaw and perform your tests, it should work.

SIP is behaving strangely here, i have a communication going for 2 sec (nice and clear) and then it's a blackout as if the reception was bad or something. My SIP provider is "Free", a french operator, using it thrue wifi.

Also, and maybe it's just a feeling but it looks like the battery is beeing used alot more..i checked CPU usage and it's not that.. gps always on maybe ?

OS.nb will always have to be the same size unless the whole ROM structure changes.

About SIP , i made my configuration without problem, replacing the dll you told, and making a cab with my parameter.

One reboot later, my Sip network is detected, and available. I can connect it, but its not shown in comm manager. the button "ip phone" stay unchecked...
I can see the sip network name in the dial pad but when i try to call :

"Cannot complete the call. The signal may be unavailable or the phone numer may not be valid. Verify the number or try again."

The number is an international one, and it works with SIP software on my laptop.
The wifi connection is good, i can surf over the internet without 3g...

got some ideas ?

I have the same problem. I have the 2.0.0.1 Rom and I used SipConfigTool and on the home screen it says: SipProvider: available or SipProvider:selected
but when trying to call it says network not available :-(

What is the IP Button in CommMgr supposed to do? I does nothing with me and Settings>IP Phone in CommMgr does not do anything..

Got alos a problem with Exchange, it took about 2 minutes or more until I receive an e-mail, maybe there´s a problem with the exchange server, but as far as i know there hadn´t been any problems in my original HTC Rom.

I did more tests with SIP and *sometimes* i'm actually able to make a call but the sound goes thrue external speaker. Usually, the call doesn't go trhough and all i hear is crackling noises. Can you please tell me how to force G711A-law codec use in WM6 please ? I don't have a VOIP server my provider takes care of that for me and i'm pretty sure they support multiple codecs.

Just download the rom and run the updateutility.exe, then follow the instructions on the screen, be aware that you dont disconnect your device while its updating, it can damage your phone, all your programs will be also deletet with the update

which OS do you use? Vista or Wndows XP? There are several problems when you want to to pdate with vista, if you use xp, just run the updateutility a second time

First off, I would like to thank you for making this ROM. I was so dis-heartened to hear about HTC not providing a WM6 update.

Just tell me where to send a check and I will..

I just wanted to add that I disabled the "enable advanced nework functionality" in the USB to PC connection setting while using the new 2.0.0.3 rom. Browsing the device seems to be better than 2.0.0.1 and Activesync seems to actually resonsive when you connecet and disconnect the device.

Hello. I installed 20070505_LVSW_Trinity_WM6_v2.0.0.3 onto my Trinity but video calling still does not work for me. I've nothing else installed except for this ROM and whatever else that came with it. I've also followed your instructions regarding going into TweakUI and ticked "Enable Video Call" under "Dialer" on the "Phone" tab, tapped "Apply" and then "Soft Reset" but had no effect. The video button is still missing.

Also, could someone please tell me how to use "Internet Calling". I've gone into Settings and under the Internet tab I've set Internet Calling to "Whenever available". On the Today screen "Not Available" comes up next to Internet Calling. I've tried with Wifi on. I've also tried turning off the phone and turning on Wifi and tried the settings "Whenever available" and "Only if cellular is not avilable". And I also have been trying to turn on IP phone under Comm Manager but it just won't switch on. Do I need extra software to make use of Internet Calling? I appreciate anyone's guidance and wisdom. Thank you.

sorry but i still can't dump the splashscreen :( and with the last rom of lvsw , i extract them , keep only the os part and rebuild , so i never loose the sfr splashscreen ... so i can back to the ship one with the dump i did before

Still cannot connect with WPA-PSK TKIP, which is why I haven't tested SIP.

GPS seems to be broken, too. TomTom was working fine in 2.0.0.2, but now will not see a GPS signal. Connects to hardware OK. If I can't get this working fairly quickly I'll have to go back to 2.0.0.2.
